Re: Introduce yourself here!
Yo, I used to play the game a lot when I was 6 to 10 years old You played Wesnoth at 6? Please tell me more! (My son's six, but I just can't see him enjoying it just yet, there is to much "math" involved in beating the game with the terrains, defense, weapon damage and strike number... --...

UMCs with "campaign/strategic map" style solution? Seasons?
Hello, I'm revisiting Wesnoth after -- OMG -- more than five years, just short of my 10-year anneversary here on the forums. I was wondering if there are any campaigns that use a "strategic map" kind of solution, where the map engine is modded to be a strategic map, where the units stand f...

Re: Girl unDead
I just read how you were looking for a title for the scenario first called (in English wrongly) Asceticism, for "hard training". Maybe "Baptism of Fire", which is an expression in military slang for the first serious fight would be an option?

Re: Scenario 4: Bay of Pearls
I'm replaying HttT after a long time.
The first thing I noticed was: I missed the sea orc... Bugg was an ordinary orcish archer! -- And then, at the beginning of turn four, he turned into the beloved sea orc without any notice or reason!
Is this a bug?
Playing on 1.11.7 on Mac.

Hm, my only captain is Galas, and I'll probably need him in the encampment for reinforcements? -- I'll try some and see... thanks!

IftU -- Crossfire
I'm looking for a strategy. I'm playing ItfU - Episode I on normal difficulty. Arrived at "Crossfire" (after crossing the desert with dehydration). I've got plenty of level 2 and 3 units in my army, but only 118 gold. -- I recruited to much in the last episode, and amassed a huge negative ...

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.90.7) for Wesnoth 1.10 & 1.
In the scenario "Crossfire" I've just killed a chaos invader with a walking corpse. "Plague" did not work: the chaos invader did not rise from the dead to fight on my side. -- As far as I understand, chaos invaders are ordinary humans (loyal to the chaos lorekeepers), so I was bu...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
Errr...Nope. Sorry, check again: the hand farthest from us is a left, with the thumb on the right side of the staff. I will take note for future portraits that this setup might cause confusion, but it doesn't warrant editing the lich. It really looks to me as if the thumb were on the left. Though l...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
Oh! The Lich's got two RIGHT orc arms attached.
Whilte technically possible, it really does disturb me that it's a "wrong" hand that's holding the staff!

Re: A Tale of Peasant Campaign
It's a user made campaign on the servers, it's one of the near-mainline or mainline quality ones, if you ask me. The story starts off from a very similar idea like what you describe. I suggest go and play it, before you go on with this project... I'd hate if you made all the effort and found out onl...

This campaign sounds very much like The Militia...
