Re: Youtube reviews Wesnoth!

Yeah, kind of the same... They just think that "free game = sucks"... :? Though some are the complete opposite, and think "commercial game = sucks". I don't know why, but that phrase of yours reminded me of WML. '_' Like... [free_game] id=game message= _ "Sucks."...

Re: Lustmord

Yeah, heard of him. Never really gotten into his music for some reason... too happy and monotonous sounding, I guess. Are you a Dark Suicidal Depressive Death Industrial Getreadytodie Ambient fan? :lol2: There are several one-man projects that blend various styles of experimental Ambient music and ...

Re: Lustmord

He is able to create ominous, dark, and overly unsettling atmospheres, sometimes by simply processing field recordings of caves and slaughterhouses :augh: During slaughter!? Hm, don't know, I hope not. XD Although I recall a recording from a freesound.org user where you can hear the inhuman screams...

Lustmord

Hey guys, has any of you ever heard of Lustmord (Brian Williams)? He's a British electronic musician, often credited as the father of Dark Ambient. I'm just listening to his works and I'm total awe... He is able to create ominous, dark, and overly unsettling atmospheres, sometimes by simply processi...

Re: Minimalist Era (work in progress)

Hi TheDreamer! I played Behind a Mask, and I found two bugs: 1) In three scenarios I got this WML warning: Invalid WML found: continue is deprecated as result in [endlevel], use the new attributes instead. 2) In the last scenario (Epilogue) my leader is reverted to level 1, I cannot recall anyone, ...

Re: Minimalist Era (work in progress)

Hm, I'll consider that... Maybe I'll add 3 more units to the tree, pairing it with Emoticons (17 units in total).
Thank you for your time, I hope you enjoyed the rest ^_^

Try Wesband or Bob the Mighties RPGs.
Or Mabuse's Survival Xtreme RPG scenarios. ;)

Re: campaign with limited number of units

I can suggest you my Minimalist Era - there's a mini-campaign in there (still WIP, though), and two very basic factions, ranging from 2 to 5 recruits.
I hope you enjoy it ^^

Anyway, 1.9.x looks totally gorgeous, how many highly-skilled monkeys have you hired to make that? :P If you mean the new terrain: just Eleazar, who did an awesome job with the new terrain graphics. 8) If you mean overall: too many people to list here. :D Hehe, wow, that's awesome. Re: is loyalists archers UP?

I always recruit Bowmen, Spearmen and hardly, Mages and Heavy Infantrymen. It depends on the opponents, of course... Mages are best used against Undead, and the heavy guys against Skeletons.

I'd say Default units are very balanced and enjoyable.

"The Universe In A Nutshell", by Stephen Hawking, for space-nerds like myself. :lol2: Very interesting book, so far For scientific books, I recommend "A short history of nearly everything". The crazy annecdotes make the book worthwhile. Thanks, mate. :D Oh, by the way, I haven't...
