That's exactly what I meant. :)
(Base sprite and variations of it)
And updating the higher level ones is probably just recoloring the lvl 1 sprite.

Just a small thing, Zombies from Lvl 2 and upwards still use old and/or less complete variations of the base unit.

Yes (at least I hope so). To Lands Unknown was meant to be the first of the campaign series. If everything goes well, TLU becomes popular enough and I have enough time to work on a new material, there will be a prequel ;)

It also means that a mainline campaign can be altered against the wishes of the author.

I suggest you increase the number of turns in the first few scenarios (those snow maps mainly): You have only 4~6 units on bad terrain vs a bunch of high level wolves and orcs, so you can't play agressively to finish fast. In the version 1.14. Abhai tells a different story about Malifor. (I like yours more.) Maybe you can ask/convince the devs to use your backstory instead?
