Re: Reepurr's Sprite Art

Flat shield, fat human, sword's shadow. I agree with all of those.

Also the sword kinda looks like a paddle. Give it more of an edge instead of a round tip.

This playing all the time will make me crazy.
This. I would go to absurd lengths to kill Fencers if they were constantly bobbing like that all the time.

Yeah, I'm not having much luck getting a result I like with that cloth. His armor highlighting still looks off to me, too. >_<;

Re: Frankenscience

So this is a problem that WILL exist posting here as a gif but WON'T exist if it's stored as a series of png files? Okay.

Re: Frankenscience

About to put up the redraft of the Shadowman from post 1, pausing to respond... Blargh I had hoped to keep my work entirely in GraphicsGale, but I suppose without the mask options and the like I'll have to switch to Photoshop at least for that. And http://i37.tinypic.com/pp05e.png Dissatisfied again...

The second one, reworked with fires that do give off light. Not happy with how this worked out, going to work on it more.

It looks a little weird when it swings back to the left at the end.

Re: Frankenscience

There's actually no scope on that gun, nor an iron sight; I could go into the details on why for the particular universe it's from, but the tl;dr explanation is that the HUD on his suit displays a visual approximation of the path that anything he fires will take. Second up, done earlier today: http:...

Re: Displaying attack info in 1.9

Yeah, something that can boost the number of attacks units make would be wildly imbalancing. XD

Just a thread for me to put my adventures with the Frankpack and seeing how far I can push the limits of it. http://i33.tinypic.com/23sdtva.jpg Followed by me deciding not to be a lazy ass and anti-alias it, leading to http://i37.tinypic.com/5ari3a.png Two main questions: does the second one look Fr...

Re: Displaying attack info in 1.9

No, the unit gets two melée attacks per turn, each dealing 9 damage. The 2 signifies the number of attacks that unit gets per turn, not the bonus it receives from leadership. I have no idea what this is replying to. If it's replying to my post, you misread it completely. 9**-2 pitchfork = put them ...

Re: Displaying attack info in 1.9

Oh. Hey. That Tooltip is actually pretty useful as-is. Making it specific numbers instead of percentages might be useful, since I might not know if those boosts are applied to the base or if they stack off each other. Also, instead of colors, just make it like 9**-2 pitchfork, or 9-2** pitchfork, or...

Re: Displaying attack info in 1.9

Ah, I didn't take smaller resolutions into account. Yeah, that wouldn't be so hawtt.

Tagging it with a color to indicate a change from the base would be spiffy, though.
