I'm thinking from spectating other co-op games, mainly SXC but also Dimage Beach Race and LoW. (I'm going to have to think about it while spectating now, see if those do what I think they do).

A minor bug/feature in 0.6.13: during the AI turn, spectators see the map with no fog. Is this intentional?

Please try purging the cache, and see if that solves the problem. DebuggingCampaigns#Instructions_also_useful_for_users_reporting_bugs

WESNOTH_VERSION should work okay, it just seems to be that that's the error that a corrupt cache causes.

That's likely to be a corrupted cache, rather than the add-on itself.

Sounds like a good idea, I've implemented it and opened Pull Request #3227.

I'm not volunteering, as I also don't have time, but I think this campaign's maintenance should be delegated to someone with time to test it. Otherwise we'll be in a cycle of reporting errors and getting new versions with just those errors fixed.

It's still waiting for a fix, but the explanation for why it's happening more often is that it happens when the host is using 1.14.2, although it affects all players. Issue #3201.

Note: "next release" means 1.14.3, the bug is still present in 1.14.2.

Edit: I thought it was also present in 1.14.2+dev, but that's because I had a very early 1.14.2+dev build.

That scenario seems broken but can be completed (the enemy leader doesn't move to his castle, the player's leader has to spend several turns moving to his own castle).
