Re: Non-Wesnoth works

For anyone interested in old-school superhero / adventure type soundtracks. I'm working on a soundtrack series called Capes & Cowls.

You can check out (and purchase if you'd like) the first two tracks here:

Re: Battle music (2 pieces)

Hi, I think you've got some good musical ideas. I have just a few comments... So I decided to write something more suited to a battle scene, and produced this: A Call To Arms; a martial overture which quotes from the main-menu leitmotif and the 'village dance' theme from my Upon Green Hills. Re: Non-Wesnoth works

For anyone interested in World music or polyrhythms, I've posted a new composition "Kilimanjaro" at the link below.

I used tons of African percussion including udo, dejembe, kalimba, marimba, etc. in addition to a standard orchestra with african choir.

Thanks!

Thanks! And yes, it's finished and free to use as needed.

Re: Battalions

The thing, that actually bugs me is that I don't really reckognize a 'thin' sound from a a '(whatever the word for it's opposite is)' one. Because I have no educational background in music, I don't really know all the "theory", so to speak.- Could you describe what is the sound like, when...

Re: Enchanted Forest

the first 1-2 mins of this (before the percussion kicks in) reminds me quite a bit of Debussy's orchestral work, which i love - a lot.

i'm anxious to hear this one completed. nice work! :D

Re: Inbetween Music

Hi CheeseLord, I really like this! I know your mix isn't finished yet, but when you begin/continue that process, I would suggest you cut out some of the "boominess" on the low end. It kind of muddies up the harp, pizz(?) and lower perc sounds. It might be the reverb contributing to this. O...

Re: New Music - The Gathering Storm

Hi Ewing!! First of all, that's some sweet piece you have. I've been quietly following its progress, and I'm really impressed. There's been some real solid brushing up on the realism, and I like how you've integrated several snippets of cool style together into a whole piece. Thanks! For me, places...
