Re: The AI just doesn't know when to quit!
People forget sometimes how complicated it is to make an AI system. Or just don't know. Personally... It's not something I'd ever want to try on an advanced scale. I've made a few AI's in Python, but they are simple in comparison.

Re: no touchpad input linux mint BfW 1.6.5?
Are you sure it's Linux Mint 9? Last time I looked it was only released to Linux Mint 8 Helena. I could be wrong, but I'm sure It wasn't even that long ago.

Yes, it is in the wrong forum but regardless the thread is here now and will soon be moved. He was asking if it had been done before, I think.

Re: Clang* Idea!
Well there is an Internet Era I believe, and there was at one point an era based on certain members of the community... But I don't think one has been created about virus based game play yet.

Re: What's your record for number of attacks without a hit?
I really think that this post has gone too far. I can't tell who is being serious, who is being sarcastic, and what the actual point of this thread even still existing (or on that matter being created in the first place) is.

Re: moding help
If you're wanting to edit a campaign, it's something not exactly easily explainable on the forums. Your best best would be to visit the Wiki and look at the directory structure to find the location of everything, and if you don't know what to do from there read the CreatingCampaigns tutorial. I do a...

Re: Wesnoth II - Wesnoth 3D.
Well I'll speak on behalf of doodle as I'm also involved in this project. :) We understand the amount of effort this would require, I don't think that we'd include the same amount of unit that are in Wesnoth and we'd have to like you said make changes to the map system. It's a big job, and it's goin...

Re: Siege Engines added to game
It is a good feature, and like you I would like to see it implemented, but I doubt it ever will be in mainline. I think there is a post in a topic about it somewhere, I don't remember though.

Re: Wesnoth II - Wesnoth 3D.
I have a terrible feeling that this topic is close to either getting locked, or getting shunned and losing all attention. I think what you really need to do is make some samples of 3D Wesnoth models and post screenshots of them on here so people can see. Otherwise people will see it as just another ...

Re: Destruction Era
Your English is understandable enough. :) Maybe post a few screenshots of the campaign so far, and a little bit of lore/background towards the storyline? You might find that once you've given a little bit away about the story and general gist that people will give more feedback. Make sure you put it...

I don't mind Google retaining some information. The Data Protection Act was put in place for a reason. Besides, what is your problem? Are you afraid that somebody from the Google office is going to care about what you look at and read, and on that note why do you care? The information they gather wi...

Re: Browser version of Wesnoth
There is already a thread discussing PBEM (Play-by-email) so I suggest carrying on the discussion there. People here don't like multiple threads about the same thing (not that many forums do).
