Well, there is no lua highlighting provided by the current wesnoth plugin alas :(

But you can use http://luaeclipse.luaforge.net/ You can install it alongside with the wesnoth plugin.

Re: Wesnoth User Made Content IDE [2.0.1]

@Silux:
Well, there are some wizards in the IDE, but yeah, the UNIT creation wizard is not complete. It's all about a specific schema.cfg file :)

@SigurdFireDragon:
What exactly is the problem? Don't the files open? Do they open with error? Don't they have highlighting?

Re: Wesnoth User Made Content IDE [2.0.1]

Hi, The website and the eclipse plugin updates directory looks OK (as I expected), and shadowm is right. I also thought about Max's idea, but those files shouldn't be on the website anyway. It's supposed to download them from the official eclipse repository. I just tested the plugin installation on ...

Re: Wesnoth User Made Content IDE [2.0.1]

Is Wesnoth installed from the .. package repository? Or how? If yes, by default it should try and auto-complete some paths. The user data directory is where the addons are stored for example. The WML tools directory is the one that contains wmllint and all those utilities. Unfortunately I don't know...

Re: Wesnoth User Made Content IDE [2.0.1]

Hi, You can set up multiple wesnoth installs. Go to the preferences, 'Wesnoth UMC' menu, and 'Wesnoth installs' subsection. Then, go to the project properties, 'Wesnoth' section and select the install you want to use. PS: If you want the normal eclipse-ish workspace behaviour, I am sorry, but it's n...

Re: Wesnoth User Made Content IDE [2.0.1]

You can find the menu after you right-click a project inside the IDE. There is the "WML Tools" menu.

Re: Wesnoth Umc ide problem

Are you opening a file that is not inside a project?

Also, did you close the welcome/intro screen? I have just tested and the cfg files was opened successfully.

Re: Wesnoth User Made Content IDE [2.0.1]

You are welcome.

Btw, it is worth to read the user's manual before using/installing the plugin, there are some things you'd like to know before :) - This Python "issue" was written in there.

Anyway, hope you'll find the program useful.

Re: Wesnoth User Made Content IDE [2.0.1]

I am sorry, but I can't help with that. It seems it's a wml* tools related problem. Are you using by chance Python 3?

You could try to invoke manually from the command line the wmltool to see if you still get those errors.

I use Windows 7, and JRE is installed.
You either install JRE/JDK on 64 bit, or download and use the 32 bit (the x86, not x86_64 archive) version of the ide.
