Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
Sounds great to see the next version come up. Is it just bugfixes or any new content? I'm rather addicted to this campaign but it dulls out a bit. Not that it's boring, but some new content (or another scenario) would be nice.
Re: Kony 2012
The video is dated from 2003. Also Invisible Children is listed as a scam group in Uganda. Can't really reply very accuretly atm but just wanted to post this quick reply since it has gone viral already.

Mines would be nice, but towers seem unlikely?Desertos wrote:you should make more buildings like mines, watchtower and defence towers
I noticed you cant "upgrade" the keep to stone. Or be able to fill water with land. Perhaps upgrade villages to towns(university)?

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
I like to suggest you implement mines like in ANO. It would help with the gold upbring. I now just keep on settling, never reaching the 1000 gold because it's way too much fun btw.

Re: Aragwaithi
I think there are the Aragwaithi from Orbvim and those from iftU and UtBS. Perhaps a paradoxal universe? I remember once applying to write the history behind the Aragwaithi but facing the same problem. Also, wayfarer used to be working on these new sprites. http://forums.wesnoth.org/posting.php?mode...

Re: Aragwaith art thread
It's bit over a year anyone has replied to this. Is it still a work in progress or has it fallen into the dark pits of nothingness? Because those sprites look awesome to my eyes.

Re: The most overused and the most underused faction
When I started playing multiplayer, I mostly used elves or loyalists. Now, I always choose random just so I can learn to play with all factions. It's more challenging and imo is better on how to learn to be a 'better' player. Still lose tons of games but I'm getting better because you need to unders...

Re: How did you find out about Wesnoth?
I first learned of Wesnoth when using Linux 8.04 a couple of years back. I was looking for a decent RPG and ended up here. A lot has changed since then (1.4 version if I remember correctly). From then on, I followed the forums, always got the latest version on my dad's windows and kept on playing ad...

Re: Antar, son of Rheor
Even with the hint the creator gave me I couldn't beat the scenario. Maybe it's me but I think the chain suiciding and the amount of enemies is too hard. The necromancer is overpowered imo. Someone post a replay if they can. Offcourse, this scenario has alot to do with sheer luck.

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
A quick question: how do roads affect gameplay? I've not used them just yet so I've not found out. In winter, the entire land is covered in snow. If you don't have roads, it takes a long time to get somewhere (say, between the keep and villages, encampments, etc.) while roads fasten that travel a l...

Re: Semi historical faction
Those units you have there look perfect I think. You can always ask for help on the art board if you got some questions. I'm not that good with sprites myself unfortunatly. Perhaps Navarrians? Seeing you are from Basque I was thinking about Navarra. The kingdom of Navarra, if I remember, used to be ...
