Re: Merman Hunter, blocking the javelin throw

That motion looks excellent to me - I will say something still slightly bothers me about the tail motion, however. I'm not quite sure what it is.

Re: Kalifa facelift

I like it - all of the faction has a distinct style while staying very Wesnothian, and the sprites are well-polished and easy to differentiate.

Re: What are you reading right now?

Ergh, I for one cannot stand Robert Jordan, but there's my two cents. He's like Tolkien's droning and side stories times one-million, but without any interesting parts to make it worth reading.

Re: Saurian Campaign: Fossil (ART NEEDED!)

I think the motion/direction itself right now is currently fine, but I disagree that you would need both hands to shift grip on the weapon. I think it is feasible for him to shift his grip on the weapon one-handed.

Re: Saurian Campaign: Fossil (ART NEEDED!)

I would say his hand needs to shift position towards the end on the axe handle, as he swings.

Re: Setanesh Faction (Art Thread)

The thing that strikes me is that the outlines are too dark and all of a uniform color. Outline the parts with direct light exposure in lighter colors than you would those parts that are in shadow. Hurm, well I'll try varying the value of the borders where the light is strongest. Also, it generally...

Re: Dwarven castle to cave wall transition alignment

I would think it would be really cool if you made something besides just cutting out the one section of the dwarven wall for these - I would like to see a lower wall along the cliff side or maybe the opening of a tunnel into the wall of the cave.

Re: Valk's Art Dump

I apologize for not noting this earlier, but his right forearm is crooked. Typically the musculature and bone of the right forearm would mean the dorsal side (the side facing OUT in this piece), would be relatively straight, and the ventral side would have more of a muscular bulge. It's not a glarin...

I would say the vertical tracks still look like we are looking at them from above.

I'm not sure how you would fix this though.

Re: Merman Hunter, early queries

I picture the animation following the approximate procedure: he should take the weapon from the quiver at his right-hand shoulder, adjust for proper grip, gradually bring the weapon back and then chuck it (depicting a follow through motion), then cycle back to the resting frame to begin again. I'm ...

Re: Zero's art. Gambit has this way of getting me to do art.

Finally got the last Northguard upgrade finished. I like gigantic swords :3 - The Team Colored loincloth seems kind of off-center to me - I would shift it one pixel left and see how that looks, myself. - The way the blade is now positioned, it would have to be either a very short, thick blade, a la...

I'd help you if I thought I could make a logo according to your specifications, but I don't think I have the knowledge or program.
