To be honest, I do indeed believe the guardsman could use a little buff... Either -1 gold, a couple of less XP or some few points of HP added to it. Just my 2 cents. Personally, I think the first one would be the most effective, since the reason for this is that generally some other knalga can do th...

13 gold is extremely small for the bowman; it's the same price as a troll whelp, and the northeners are supposed to be much cheaper than other factions. The whole idea of the loyalists is that they have a powerful, cheap unit, the spearman; nerfing it would change the whole idea of the loyalist game...

13 gold for the bowman is way too much, and 15 gold for the spearman is just dumb, IMHO. I don't see why it should be balanced; the bowman has it's uses which are specific, and he can be a GREAT unit in those cases; plus it's a really good all-around unit, it's just not used on every kind of match, ...

There are games like this; Wesnoth isn't one. We don't *want* it to be closer to an RTS.

Well, the idea is to give the defender an advantage; many numbers are already a huge advantage on the game, and some units are better at defending, while others are better when attacking. This defense mechanism can also sometimes be a problem, specially when the opposing player has many weak units, ...

I would *love* there to be a delay on messages.... hell, even a 1 second delay; that way, it doesn't close if it appears while you're mouse-wheel-scrolling and stuff....

No, of course not. Only the human side would be able to terraform and stuff; that's why the era has a faction called 'barbarians' which is for the AI to use. :P
