Re: Expanding UMC Music

Sorry about having to remove that link. I thought that you must have already downloaded it because it was listed under the songs already acquired for the 3rd UMC Music add-on. Thanks lipk. :D

 I have all of Tyler's pieces in my Wesnoth playlist. (Even the ones that aren't in mainline.) All that is, except Enchanted Forest which I seem to have completely missed.

Re: Expanding UMC Music

Link to Land of Madness has now been removed due to my shrinking space available on Mediafire. Hope everyone who wanted it got a copy. If not, wait for Pentarctagon to upload the next UMC Music add-on to the servers.

I still have Land of Madness by Tyler. If you would like me to, I could upload it here so that you can include it. ^_^

Re: Telaron's Never-Ending Medley

30-40 MBs is a pretty good size for an add-on, so you might want to consider making a "Part 2" or similar and then update that instead. :hmm: Yeah I had thought of that. West did something similar when he uploaded his Chronicles to the add-on server. I believe that that's probably the eas...

Re: Telaron's Never-Ending Medley

Cool, I look forward to the add-on Thanks, I'll try not to disappoint anyone. Unfortunately this add-on will not include too many songs that are not already on this forum, at least not initially. I seem to have loads of half-finished projects hanging around my computer these days. I'm workin...

Re: Telaron's Never-Ending Medley

Out of all of these, Land of Adventure is totally my fav. Yeah, it's probably my favorites too. It was one of those pieces that seemed to come more naturally. I wish I could do that for all of my pieces. The piece I'm working on now - which is not posted here yet - is definitely not coming as easil...

Re: Telaron's Never-Ending Medley

I want to comment on your pieces... I like them, and I like your style. Thanks; this is quite a bit of feedback. I appreciate the time you took to download and listen to all my stuff. Most of the compositions on this last page (beginning from Epic Race) are my 'better' compositions. Although...

Re: Telaron's Never-Ending Medley

I was recently threatened/asked by a developer (who shall go unnamed) to upload some of my music as a wesnoth add-on for those who would wish to use my compositions in their add-on projects. I have gathered together about a dozen various songs so far which I am fairly happy with, however, I have qui...

Re: [Music] A Letter from Lintanir

you could progressively add more instruments building up to a climatic point Yeah, I would definitely add more instruments. What you have is fine for the beginning, but you song needs to progress more instrumentally as it moves. For instance, you could add a violin ensemble instead of just the solo...

Re: My Music

Great stuff here Nickolay! Your songs remind me of the soundtrack to the video game FATE from WildTangent. The only critique I can give is that you could probably have added more contrasting dynamics to Stella Splendens and City of the Dwarves. IMO their dynamics seemed to stay pretty much the same....

Re: Ask for a suggestion

I have to report that it is mainly a question I do to you becouse I don't know other places where it is possible to find people who make music compositions for pc not recording real instruments, but creating them virtually. Nobun have you seen this site? Here There is a 'Software and Hardware' as w...

Re: Wesnoth MusicPool ?

True, there is the UMC Music add-on. I hadn't really considered that. I recall downloading it a while back. West's Chronicles I haven't seen though. It's been a while since I looked at the add-ons for wesnoth though. In regard to my former post, I was referring to the fact that there is no place whe...

Re: Wesnoth MusicPool ?

Is there any centralized Location where Authors can put there Compositions? In answer to your question, so far as I know there is no "centralized location". If you want UMC material for a campaign you are working on or for some such project, you will have to scrounge around in the Wesnoth...

Re: Telaron's Never-Ending Medley

Not finished yet, but here it is. I added some instruments in various places to broaden the orchestra and improve the overall sound of the piece. The transition towards the end there still sounds a bit thin IMO so I plan on taking some time to address that problem. Hope you guys enjoy it! :D
