I liked conquest for being a very simple game. The updates are making it more and more complex. I played the realm stuff on crusades and though interesting, I am not sure if it would work well. Here are issues that will cause problems. 1. Fog is pretty much standard these days. With Fog on, and you limited to 1 region, you wont see a lot of action. I ended up waiting a long time to see any act...

Alistar, while some 'defense' units you suggested could be added, I think europe should be left to 1 faction, unlike wesnoth and island maps.

If there are more inputs for 'defense' units, I can go ahead and update the europe map.

I created an add-on to work on 1.8. Might require a separate topic but I will continue here till all issues are fixed. Attached is the updated add on. Extract this to data/add-ons folder. There seems to be a problem with island map when all the slots are not filled. leave last 2 empty and host a game. It hung on us about 3 times now. I think everytime all all slots are filled.

Since blueblaze hasn't updated his addon for some time, its better we create a ConquestMod addon and put all our updates together into one.

I fixed bonuses for the island map. attached is the file. named it 1.2

It still needs all vills taken update, so if anyone is intrested u can give it a try

What about Italy? No one is interested on Italy normally, cos the reward is too low (3 gold, 4 cities) and it's a bit like germany, it gets smashed by opposing east and west forces. One other problem that is there with even previous addons was with timer. If I set minimum to 2:30 and maximum to 3:30, there are still times where I get 1:00 or less based on action bonus which is not right. When minimum is 2:30 mins, we should have that time, no matter what the action in last tur...
