I just played through on normal difficulty. I was able to upgrade a zolpha by simply setting an intelligent zolpha on the corner in the west and drawing all my men and elves into the same corner so they kept attacking him. Having fun with this. A couple of comments: Trying out the caverns. I was expecting quick death when I first started seeing all of the undead, but they don't seem to attack unless you are already hurting. This is good! I like the idea of maybe having a small band of dwarfs to help clear the caverns....

Yes, we all returned to Maldor, had all four of the mages standing around him. Nothing happened. Are supposed to run into Quaxoir (sp?) after we take him out in the caverns.
