IftU -- the elf versus Goliath
Invasion from the Unknown: I'm stuck in the scenario "the elf versus Goliath". Have opened the first doors using the blue crystal ball, but cannot find how to progress further. Have re-inspedted every corner of the area: no way :-( Any tip on how to move on welcome. By the way: after activ...

Re: Fate of a Princess -- story
As I said (did I?), We-all (mich, Simons Mith, and I) have been working on for the new edition which includes four more scenarios to fill up the transition between Part One and Two. All characters who have not appeared in the game (but appeared in the dialogues) such as Gulcyn the Wizard, Elen-Gari...

Re: Fate of a Princess -- campaign level
for an intended intermediate level campaign, rather hard; say 8 In my opinion, FoaP tends to be an expert-level campaign (compare especially UtBS), partly for its innovations on unit types/races, gameplay, etc, partly for its tactical challenges, esp in the first part. (possibly more on this topic ...

Re: Fate of a Princess
Hi, This scenario is actually not really logical. I took the game-play more than the story on it. So you are pointing a right thing. Right. Both ways (opened with the key) enable finding the sword, Vladnir (the alchemist drake) and the dragon's lair [...] But, for a reason I cannot figure out, Ghid...

Re: Fate of a Princess
Hello, Currently playing Fate of a Princess, nearly finished. Globally, I just love this campaign. Have many things to say, but rather on the development thread. Some words about the Dragon Cave. I have spent many hours playing with this scenario, several times, trying to find its logic. Maybe I sim...

Re: RELEASE: Coming of the Storm - v1.15
Hello, Started to play CotS and enjoy it very much. Unfortunately, I'm unable to pass to scenario 4: got famous error "unknown scenario '04_Tidings'". While indeed this scenario exists... Playing on latest stable release of Wesnoth: 1.6.5, while the first post of this thread states CotS is...

Re: WML semantic structure -- parsing
Hello, endly had time to solve this issue. Took the opportunity to rewrite the "styler", to properly export style sheet. Here is the resulting reference manual page online . Critics welcome! [Note: it's not BfW game code, indeed ;-)] Feedback welcome, too, about the whole reference generat...

Re: WML semantic structure -- parsing
Holà, Right, I have now what seems to be a decent toolset to generate both semantic schema and user manual page from (what I decided to call) "reference code", as described in earlier exchanges on this thread. Including ~ clear and nice-looking formatting for user reference. I have put onl...

Re: no save when ai sides only?
If you are only interested in the stats, a replay savegame should be sufficient. Just watched it, thank you. Seems it may solve my issue. Just have to check replay savegames are done even for ai-only games, when save_replays="yes"... Yes! By the way, can someone tell me if there is a way ...

Re: no save when ai sides only?
* Saves beeing done at start of turn, there is never a save file to get feedback on how a whole scenario was played! What's wrong with the replay? Dunno, have never saved a replay. Does the file hold [statistics] [variables] and all such interesting sections? I'll try and have a look... PS: Oh, sor...

Re: no save when ai sides only?
File a feature request? Yep, that's what I'm going to do. I have been stuck for too long with this ¤$*%#!!! question of getting game statistics (see a note on this topic and thread ). Anyway, I would like a confirmation that there actually are no saves for ai-only games, and if yes, why? Saves are ...
