Re: Art for Bad Moon Rising, again : Swamp Elf

Normally, you dont see such defined ribs on an elf. I would reccomend moving them back on his side and lightining the lines some.

Re: Aura's Sprite Realm - New 19/9/09, Centaurs and Dwarf

I have some cfgs finished(I can't remember which) but they're on the other computer. My computer will be back in approximately a week. The centaurs are great! ...

Re: Woodmouse's sprites

Hm. Inretrospect I agree. Outlining could also serve as a trick to help.

I like the helmet on number 8. It's very unique.

Re: Woodmouse's sprites

:eng: http://www.iment.com/maida/familytree/branch.jpg Branches do not have a consistent width, they start out thick and taper and branch into twigs. In spriting(lineart is different) I don't think that nothing should have the width of one pixel in a normal sized sprite. Try starting a four or three...

Re: Aura's Sprite Realm - New 13/9/09, More Pirates

For coding, it would be helpful for me to finish the desert faction cfg if you took the sprites from the evolution sheet to the regular 72x72 Format and zipped it. Thanks!

Re: Aura's Sprite Realm - New 12/9/09, Pirates

I would love to code these factions! I've been coding for Wesnoth(personally) since I started playing, and would love to tackle a real challenge. If it is alright, I shall begin immeaditly.
P.S. Sorry for the bad spelling  ...

Re: More work on Cliffs

The cliffs have a very smooth feeling. I would prefer a more defined and jagged cutoff

Re: Woodmouse's portraits (Spearman wip)

It is too dark, even black, and to light, even white, in quite a few places. http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=23783 Should help you. He starts with a base color, uses a transparent black, and barely highlights with white.

I'm a bit late to talk about the slayer, but his pick-axe-dagger is an awsome weapon! I am curious as to what your reference is.

Re: Portrait sketches

I really like the design of the armour! The armour seems to be very clean and well upkept for an orc at this preliminary stage. You could tear it some and make it dirtier to give it more of an orcish feel imo.

That is the most awsome ability ever to be coded.
