Re: Children of Dragons
So if I upload the new campaign, from the title page, add-ons button, will I have to restart the scenario ? How will that work?
(Sorry, I'm not particularly Wesnoth0literate.)

Re: Children of Dragons
Well I must have erased the whole campaign, so I had to replay to get back to the boat. In any event, I am getting two error messages: unknown unit type giant worm, and unknown naga hunter. On turn one when my bowman moved up into the middle of the boat, he said something about worms and a room, but...

Re: Children of Dragons
I wasn't able to d/l the worms, but they could be fine. But rats/giant rats are probably more common than worms. (Unless a barrel of apples went REALLY bad.) 2. If some drakes/humans die in chokepoints, that's fine with me. I like scenarios where we have to expect losing units, including good, level...

Re: Children of Dragons
Hey I didn't know you did TSoG as well, I'm in the middle of replaying it, this time on hardest level. You're a creative man! So I only just read your post, so let me see. No, I didn't try and replay the previous scenario with only clashers, guess I could give it a try. Would the Clashers survive th...

Re: Children of Dragons
1. Starting gold is terrible, only 126. So I have tried recruiting just a couple units at first in order to maximize income. I've also gone back and tried replaying the previous two scenarios, but the problem is that I don't know how much more money I can extract from them. In Bandits, you get tons ...

Re: Children of Dragons
I've been playing this campaign on 1.9, hardest level, and I can't see how I would ever get past the Sea Journey scenario. I read the small back-and-forth a couple of pages ago in this thred, but it's pretty hopeless, so matter what I do. I might have made it to turn 13 once, but that's it. A couple...

Re: Burning Souls
You have to play it defensively. Since level 1 drakes get chopped down just as easy as level 2's, and sometimes even level 3's, it is best to recruit fresh units and place them on the front lines as suicidal guards. Basically, let the enemy attack the level 1's, and use the guys who are close to le...

Re: Burning Souls
I've played it mostly through, on medium level. (1.9.7), but I am stuck on "Close to Kill". Is the object just to wait 15 turns? Because Q launches so many merfolk at you that there is no way through, even with the glider-assassin idea. Any thoughts? As was expected, this is a campaign wit...

Re: The Sojournings of Grog (3.0 on its way)
Played 1.9.7, medium difficulty. The Scenario "Seige Perilous", nothing happens on turns 16, 17, 18 vis a vis a tunnel opening. Is there a bug?

Re: Rebellion in the North:SP Campaign feedback and reviews
Thanks for the quick reply. You say I will need more white mages later on, but the problem is I can't recruit any more, so I am stuck with the 3 I have. (2 white, one arch). I didn't know that I wasn't going to be able to recruit more, and I don't like going backwards, I prefer to play it as it come...

Re: Rebellion in the North:SP Campaign feedback and reviews
Hi there, I'm playing Normal on 1.9.4, and think it's pretty cool. I do agree with a previous comment, that it may be better off as 2 campaigns. Sometimes it's hard to remember the thread of either my general or Aric, since it may have been a week or so since I last saw them, depending on how often ...

Re: The Fires of Pride (0.3.0)
Hi Joram, and congrats for all your hard work. It really shows! I have two thoughts: 1. Elendar's dialogue through the first 4 scenarios kind of makes him unlikeable. Our heroes don't need to be paragons of virtue, but he's not the type of guy I'd want to grab a pint of mead with after work, to say ...

Re: The Rise of Wesnoth: The Sewer
(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on? hardest, 1.9.3 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 9. About 4-5 restarts. You'd think you could go with some new recruits, as last post did, but I could never get it to work for me. I had much less startin...

Re: Scenario Review: SotBE 1 - End of Peace
This is a review of "End of Peace" - the starting scenario of the Son of the Black Eye campaign. Feel free to answer the questions below; reviews of other scenarios are also available on the forum. (1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? 1.9.2, Ni...
