Re: Orc Portrait Series
I just want to say well done sir. You (speaking to all portrait artists) continually knock my socks off. I can't wait to see these in action

Re: IPhone beta
Another Edit: Would it be possible to make a separate program or change the app so that it can sync the savefiles on your PC's Wesnoth with your Iphone's Wesnoth? It would make campaigns a lot more portable and fun. That's brilliant. Unnecessary for a first release, and quite a lot of work I'm sure...

Re: Wesnoth Wallpaper
I like the idea of people making wallpapers. I've actually been wanting a wesnoth wallpaper for a while. I guess I should really make my own, since I have a weird screen resolution. Anyway, great work everyone. I really like to see people get involved because I Wesnoth is a great game.

I have a comment about the tail as well. I actually like the tail, but what strikes me odd about it is that it is not being pulled down by gravity, yet it appears to be limp.

Re: Modern Warfare Era
How is the most commonly used and battle tested weapon in the US Army not a modern weapon? I'm including m4 variants in this.

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
Really? It doesn't look feminine at all to me. I also don't think a female Grand Knight is necessary for obvious reasons. I'm not saying it can't be done. There are women that would make me look like a little school-boy, but I don't think the game is missing anything without them, and I would probab...

Re: Difficulty on some Campaigns, is it just me?
I find that the campaign battles themselves aren't too terribly hard (although I do use the back to turn command quite liberally). The hardest thing for me is just knowing how to level up or what kind of nasty surprises the game is going to throw at you. I'm currently playing TEI and there is quite ...

Okay...I know we're not supposed to speak here unless we have something useful to say, but DAMN that is sexy. It's my favorite unit in the game too so I can't wait till it's finished!

Re: Why Elvish Sorceress can't heal?
Sorceresses would be way too powerful if they healed and had their magic attacks. And as for the other...this game has nothing to do with real life

Re: Seve files on ubuntu
They are in your user's home folder. The easiest graphical way to find them would be to open your file browser and go to your home folder. Then go to view > show hidden files. The file folder is .wesnoth1.6 (could be different but the important thing is the .wesnoth, the . means it is hidden by the ...

I don't care if it was a twig, I still wouldn't wanna get hit with it if he was holding it lol. I think the club is fine. Although the [our] right arm, the upper muscle is a little abrubt in the ending. Doesn't look bad though. Looking good as usual :). Exactly. I think it's about right. If it were...

Re: Selectable Unit Traits: A Proposal for Future Versions
And as an aside, plenty of other non-chess strategy game titles have been able to avoid introducing elements into their games that randomly favor one player over another: You're comparing apples to oranges. Of those games I've only played c&c(s) and warcraft(s) but those are real time strategy ...
