Re: Five Fates 1.03, Dungeoncrawl
Hi, I hope this is the right thread for this. My character somehow got affected with the weak status and it seems to be permanent. Is this a bug or did I just screw up? Also I had a negative leadership bonus that also reduced my characters stats.

Re: Is a red mage worth it early in HttT?
Red, and Arch magi are definitely useful. They are great for softening up units like level 3 trolls, Iron Maulers, Warlords, and all types of high HP units. I find Magi of Light to be invaluable in heavy undead situations. Healing, Curing, and Illumination are all incredibly useful. What I love spec...

Re: What do you do in the real world?
I'm a student at a regional arts program, I major in Drama. All of this I do in Canada, and I just finished grade/year 11 (junior for you Americans). I love wesnoth and have been playing it for a very, very long time now. Years before I ever made an account. I got hooked as a young kid, and I miss t...

Re: Add a grind zone or sidequest to HttT?
The part about tactics (what does a silver mage do/how do they work) is a very interesting idea. Perhaps in your version, one or two scenarios would have you take control of an army (not you and your veterans) with its own leader that's allied to your cause, or you can use your own leader with a dif...

Re: Campaign challenges
Yeah, reconsidering it seems pretty hard, and leveling a unit to level 2 is too easy. I was just trying to think of something new. What if, in a kind of speed run, you put a timer on all of your turns?

How about this:
Must level at least one unit to level three every scenario.

Re: I have many ideas for developing this game.
There are hundred's of threads such a this one, and almost all of them come from a lack of experience. Many people feel that the Undead and the Drakes are overpowered. Or that there's not enough diversity within a faction. Players need to really play the game for a while before attempting to complet...

Re: Level2 Max / Lancers Paladins
Lancers are great when you have a low level unit harrassing you villages six or seven hexes away that would take two turns to get there, and two back, therefore equalling 4 turns, and saving 2 in the process. Also he can catch up quick to your army afterwards. In The Rise Of Wesnoth, i got my first ...

1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on? Medium 8.0 100g (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 1/10 Just walk down and attacking as you see fit (3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives? You should tell the player just to kill everyone but I could have had a ...

Re: ffa ethics
If you're player 2, you might as well play "pass the ball". Tell player 3 that he'll have to attack player 1 or else you'll just give player 1 all your villages without fighting and attack player 3 instead, thus giving the advantage to player 1. Dunno if it would work, but seems better th...
