Re: [mainline] rename "poison" to "poison +8"
I think I understand what he's saying. Even though there's only one poison, adding "-8" to it helps newbies learn and remember that that's how much damage poison does per turn.

Re: Where did you get your username from?
Oh, hmm. I always thought 'SFault' was "server fault", since most people call segmentation faults 'segfaults'.

Re: Funny forum memories
Most of 'em were pretty bad, but am I the only one who thought "Why did Delfador cross the road? To get to the spirit world on the 'other side'!" was legitimately hilarious?

Re: Where did you get your username from?
-273 °C equals 0 °K which is the absolute minimum in temperature...? I just noticed something I will nitpick on. :D In the past, chemists used "degrees kelvin", but that's been replaced with "kelvins" to emphasize it's an absolute scale and not a degree scale (since 0 kelvins = ...

lol. Even I wouldn't've done that nitpick.HomerJ wrote:I was waiting for somebody to put in "but it should be -273.15", I just didn't imagine it would be you TSI.

Re: Updating Solely Required Files
Refer to what TSI wrote. A lot of people (I'd guess most of the devs) do "that".Captain_Wrathbow wrote:I guess you're referring to that it's possible to individually download each necessary file?
So... sure, if you want to be technical. It's not like anyone's going to do that, though.

Re: Team play and common sense
Strategically , it does not matter whether the villages are split 6/4 or 5/5. However, you don't play games for pure strategy. You play them to have fun. If you were playing for pure strategy, you'd have one person controlling both factions on that team, since that makes coordination easier. If the...

You mean the short answer is yes, but it's not worth the effort.Captain_Wrathbow wrote:The short answer is, no. There's currently no good way of doing this, unfortunately.

Do villages get teamcolor, aside from the flags? That would be nice to have.

Re: Looking for donations
Paypal recently charged me 0.5 % to send money internationally. It might cost more in some cases but I really would be amazed if they ever charged over 10%. It's about micropayments. Taking 10% off the top of a $5000 transaction would be ridiculous. Taking 10% off the top of 5000 $1 transactions wo...

Also consider Flattr. They do skip 10% off the top, though, but for smaller donations I think it might be better than PayPal.

Re: Dark Sorcerer tank
High HP or not, won't it die to a couple of attacks from pretty much any lv2 units? 48 HP ain't that high when many lv2s surpass 30 dmg total with their main attack. You have to remember that 30+ damage is assuming all their attacks hit. The only L2 that has a greater than 50% chance of doing 28 or...

Re: Dark Sorcerer tank
If the Bone Shooter only had a few weaknesses, it'd be fine, but it's weak to half the damage types in existence. I'd prefer a ghost - that at least removes the Impact weakness. The Dark Sorcerer is really weird as far as spellcasters go. Not only does it have high HP, it also has relatively low dam...
