Population
Hey guys!
I wanna start playing Wesnoth again, and I was just wondering how the population is? Has it been sinking since I made this account?
Cheers!

Re: What to do...
Unlimited turns. ;) The objective is to kill all of the elves (see attachment or press Ctrl-j), but who says you're supposed to live? If you moved onto the glyph and all elves have died, the volcano erupts and all units die. That includes you... No, I mean. I've killed all the elves before I steppe...

When you're on the last scenario in the Sceptre of Fire and the objective say "Kill all elves before one of them escapes from the cave" (or something similiar) and you have already killed all the elves?

Yeah I posted a topic about that in the user's forum. For people like me with slow internet it'd be really useful.

Re: Are orcish assassins and slayers bugged?
If you have an elusive unit attacking from 70% defense (a footpad, for instance, or another assassin), your chance to dodge all three attacks and escape un-poisoned only goes up to about 33%, so you can expect to still get poisoned 2 out of 3 times. I'm talking elves in a forest here, mostly ranger...

Re: Are orcish assassins and slayers bugged?
I'm talking elves in a forest here, mostly rangers, druids and sorceresses which all have 70% def in forest. I usually get hit 2/3 of their attacks, I guess it's just bad luck.Hulavuta wrote:Maybe you are standing on a 40% defense hex?
Although, yes, it's probably luck.

Are orcish assassins and slayers bugged?
Hey all. So wesnoth say that when used offensively they always have a 60% chance to hit. Is there a possibility of it being bugged to work while defending as well? Because every single time I attack an orcish assassin or slayer, I get poisened (very rarely I don't). Is it bugged or is it my bad luck...

Re: Question regarding new versions of wesnoth
IIRC, it was tried once before, and so few people downloaded the slimmed down version that the effort of making it wasn't worth it. But I could be wrong here. Yeah, i wasn't involved, but that's what i remember. It's probably been tried more than once. There's always been a few people on the forums...

I have no clue about computers, I couldn't even find my wesnoth saves without asking for help in the forum.

Re: Question regarding new versions of wesnoth
Hello gentlemen and the odd gentleladies. So, I'm playing wesnoth in the 1.8.2 version. And I see there's a new stable out, 1.8.3. I was wondering if there is anyway I can update my current wesnoth to the new one without having to download the entire thing (250 mb takes an awful lot of time with my...

Re: Legend of Wesmere question
Aha! ... :hmm: You're talking about multiplayer accounts now? No, simply Windows user accounts. (Each of them would usually also have an own multiplayer account, though.) If you are the sole user of your computer, this would not concern you. But if other people (for example family members) use your...

Re: Legend of Wesmere question
One of them is global, the other one is user specific - if there are multiple users of Wesnoth on the same computer, each has an own userdata directory, which does not interfere with the other one. So, nobody else than you can delete your safes or add-ons. Aha! ... :hmm: You're talking about multip...
