Re: Wesnoth 1.10.4 for iphone/ipad & source code is out now!
Hey, I'm not aware I'm being particularly anything, much less disrespectful to anyone. In truth I'm just a customer voicing his opinion on a product/service. I bought the first Wesnoth because it said it had multiplayer. It didn't when I bought it. I completely agree and personally was also quite f...

Re: Hi,guys, Wesnoth 1.10.4 for iphone/ipad is released now!
Where can I find the source code to this port? I can reapply some of my previous changes and update my version on the AppStore so people don't have to pay again. Too late for me lol. Couldn't you have facilitated this eons ago to save people from paying twice? I mean, there have been enou...

Two iPhone versions
I've been taking a lot of flames for not updating the iOS version of Battle for Wesnoth. Despite the best of intentions, I've simply not had time to continue work on it after creating Shadow Era that became quite popular, launching the physical cards, and running a business that has now grown to 50 ...

Re: How to compile Wesnoth for iPhone/iPad
Thanks for the tip mister fancy pants, but I don't want to deal with svn branches. They are good in theory but never in practice
For the wml I was talking about, grab the data/themes/default.cfg from the PC version to get 1024x768 support for iPad

Re: How to compile Wesnoth for iPhone/iPad
Please post any specific errors you have and I'll see if I can help Resources for the iPad version are mostly just the same as iPhone with some wml copied from the PC (1024x768 resolution support) plus new fullscreen images for loading and whatnot. It is not included in svn because it is another sev...

If anyone is looking for the source, it's available at http://www.wulven.com/wesnoth_palm_src.zip and eventually it will be integrated into the main iPhone port svn

Re: Wesnoth for WebOS/Palm Pre
I have been contacted by Palm directly to do an WebOS port of Wesnoth, so pending the "go ahead" from Dave I will be putting 2 fulltime engineers on this to make it a reality... Intriguing. Is Palm offering any incentives for the project? Porting assistance, prominent advertising for Wesn...

Re: iPhone port, Episode 3
What are your standards for adding campaigns to the iPhone port? How do you select which campaigns qualify and which don't? Your standards are obviously more lax than mainline, since IftU and the RPG-ish Ooze Campaign both made it in. 1. Popular in terms of downloads and user comments. Both IftU an...

Re: How to use PC saves on Iphone 3g?
Perhaps I underestimated how many people would actually use this feature, as there are over 1200 accounts created on wesnothsync.com
I'll try to make it more obvious in the next update....

Re: Wesnoth on TUAW
Actually I think the Wesnoth art is perfect for the iPhone/iPad. It looks really crisp and clear on a mobile device, better than on a desktop computer. Plus it just feels so much better when you can tap on the units instead of using a mouse. Yes, the iPhone port is using most of the latest v1.8 spri...
