Re: 3 player colosseum
Thanks.
Shiki, is it okay if I private message you the _server.pbl for this add-on?
This should allow you to update the version, change the author and email, and get this latest version out there.
I currently don't have Wesnoth installed and the (Linux Mint) repo only has 1.12.

Re: WSRSW (voting on scenarios and campaigns)
Hi all, This is my last post on this forum, because I've decided to leave. Over the last couple of months it has become clear that I cannot get along (well) with some of the moderators/developers. It's better for all of us if I leave. I wish all of you the best, including the people I've had argumen...

Re: Can Wesnoth be used as an evangelization tool
For your information, on September 2nd, I've sent an e-mail to the forum moderators complaining about (anti-)religious statements on the forum (and MP server). About a week later, one of them informed me that they are in the process of revising the signature guidelines. I'm also unhappy with (anti-)...

Re: Where are the SAVED files located on hard drive?
According to this, they should be in the saves\ directory in "MyDocuments\My Games\Wesnoth1.8".TERMINATOR wrote:my saved files [...] version 1.8.4 on Windows XP

If you just use add-ons.wesnoth.org, that will work.Fog wrote:I had changed the value that follows addons.server.wesnoth.org:, and I don't know what the number is for 1.8x.
(The port for 1.8 add-ons is 15001.)

tactical thinking. Strategic thinking I suspect you mean. What's the difference? Over-simplified, the difference between tactical and strategic thinking, is respectively short term/how versus long term/what-why-whereto. Yeah, me too.Max2008 wrote:i was able to upload it without any problems. using version 1.8.2.
So, the problem has nothing to do with the add-on or the .pbl file.
Leuteinant, you should probably upgrade your Wesnoth version to 1.8.4 and try again.

Re: Player made campaigns wont work.
So now I ask what do I do with these files to get the addon to work? Let's get back to your original post. If something isn't working, you should give the exact error message (screenshot if you have to; "it could not read the file" is not enough) and mention what add-on you tried to use (...

Re: "cheating" at wesnoth
Using this script is especially ironic on "Descent into Darkness." You forgot to describe what your script does, that it changes a save file to give more gold and such. There's an even quicker way to spoil your game, hedges333. You can use the debugging commands when running in Debug Mode...

Re: Player made campaigns wont work.
No I have no userdata folder.. The folder's name is not "userdata" . That word is merely used to describes the folder that contains, among other things, /data/add-ons/, because its location differs depending on the OS used. In your case, with Vista, check in these directories (the latter ...
