Re: Fencer

I always thought that the smaller saber was a dagger... you know, the one in his other hand.

Or maybe it's just a 2D game's way of showing depth, I'm not sure... :D

Re: On what version did you first play Wesnoth?

If you really want to go way back in Wesnoth unit trees: http://www.geocities.com/fmunoz_/wesnoth/tree.html At the bottom of the page... http://www.geocities.com/fmunoz_/wesnoth/large-board.gif Level 99 "Large Board"!? I don't know how to respond to that! What is that unit's origins/slash...

Re: Favourite map

I personally play on random maps quite often, seeing as it can be interesting to try and overcome various random disadvantages. However, given that sooner or later everybody wants a fair match, I'll play on nearly any of the balanced maps. At the same time, I do find it odd that people persistently ...

Re: Blitzkrieg! (the value of speed in Wesnoth)

I find that Wesnoth tends to favor defense, and that rushing is a good way to die. Re: How to kill the slowest games

Yes, it is bad to leave games. That is more rude than a player taking his time and thinking about his moves. In time you'll find that the best games you play take longer, because the players are actually thinking strategically about the game. I agree completely... Wesnoth is a turn based game, whic...

Upgrading to Different Versions Within Same Tree

Hello All, So, I didn't want to ask an already answered question, but I didn't quite find the answer in my searches, so here goes; I've been told that you can keep your saved data from one version to another version within the same tree (in this case, I'm going from 1.62 to 1.63) Is there anything s...
