Re: Faction village flags

Well, just to let you know that I haven't abandoned this project, here is its current state. I've been tweaking the animation; it still needs some more work, particularly with the middle two frames. rebel-flag-animated.gif I see two problems: one, the snap at the end is a little too jerky; two, does...

Re: Kitty's Merpeople

You're probably planning on fixing this in your finishing details, but I just wanted to make sure that you know that her nostrils have somehow disappeared? Is that intentional? I love the seaweedy look of her hair and your use of coral. I can't wait to see what you think of for the rest of the merpe...

Re: Melinath's Scenery: signposts.

To me, the text on the proposed portrait looks a little too uneven and complex. By uneven, I mean that the characters vary widely in size/height, and imagine if you had to write with characters that complex—slow work indeed! kitty's example is a fairly good one, and looks a little more realistic. Me...

Re: Outlaws! New: Footpad

That was fast. I like the redraw—the pose looks very natural now.

I was wondering what that was on top of the string around his head... very clever. :P

Looks done to me!

Re: Outlaws! New: Footpad

I love the variety that you put into your portraits, and how realistically the many different types of people are portrayed! For instance, the Footpad sprite has reddish hair, and on that you come up with two wonderfully realistic red haired individuals—if you know what I mean. It makes it much more...

Re: JustinOperables Portraits- Great Troll

Just to throw a little "awesome" out there—Arne is looking fantastic! I certainly wouldn't be embarrassed at all if I could make a portrait like that... ;) If you're really looking for critique, the only thing that bothers me slightly is his right shoulder piece; perhaps I'm ignorant, but ...

Re: Fire Dragon tune-up

Hey A-Red, I think you've made it look slightly more realistic, but I tend to agree with kyi—the proportions on it really are pretty extreme. I'd personally like to see something more sleek and imposing... for instance, Eternal has been working on a revision that really looks quite ferocious. :shock...

Nice idea, makl... this flag is too thin to have more than one split, but it could work on another flag...

Re: Faction village flags

Longer and thinner would look better - it took me a moment to notice that there was any difference from the Knalgan one apart from the hammer head on top, and these should be instantly distinguishable. Yep. Like, twice as long, half as wide. Sorry for the late reply. Longer and thinner it is: rebel...

Faction village flags

Well, I've taken my own sweet time about it, but I finally have something to present. Lamentably, it isn't much: a single frame of a Rebel flag. The additional frames should be pretty straight forward, but I thought I'd present it now to see if any changes need be made before I continue. rebel-flag-...

Re: Wesnoth music and the future

* Get experienced musicians on board : Wesnoth has something to offer to experienced non-pro musicians, an audience... I don't know if there are big amateur composer communities on which we could advertise, you probably know that better than I do, but if such a thing does exist, maybe that's the wa...
