Then you need to use a [while] loop around each [message], with an [option] that sets a variable to break the current loop.

Yeah, I don't really understand the problem. Your code you've posted works as far as I can tell - the [message] appears and has its options. Also, indenting helps(and the outer [command] is unnecessary): [event] id=my_id name=prestart [command] [message] [option] message="return the game" [/option] ...

I like proficiency(or proficient?), since it rather straightforwardly suggests that the unit is especially proficient with that particular weapon.

Nym's smile seems a little... forced, maybe? Almost like it's sarcastic. The coloration of either end of her lips seems like it extends a little too far as well.

Yep. You can even sort-of indirectly verify this by checking your CPU usage when a [message] is being displayed vs when it's not - it'll be lower when the [message] is being displayed, since nothing on the screen is being updated.

All of the units say "Dunefolk Human" in the sidebar, so I'm not sure saying it in the description as well adds much. If it were added though, I would swap it around, so:
