There are many reasons to upgrade to 1.14, but if you don't want to (or cannot for some reason).
I haven't yet found the newer versions for Ubuntu. Repository only has 1.12
There's the Steam version(1.14.7), this ppa(1.14.5), and the flatpak(1.14.7).

We are almost complete with our rework and will then be looking into adding it to mainline in which case it could be used by any map or add-on. :)
I look forward to it :)

Re: Text not displayed correctly - font problem?

To add to that: 1.14.x can be found on Steam, installed via ppa, or installed as a flatpak.

Re: What changes were made to the [music] tag ?

What OS are you using and where are you getting Wesnoth from? I can't reproduce this on Linux using the Steam version.

Re: Wesnoth 1.14.6

So I suppose the right place to ask is here... for those of us who depend on other packagers who still have 1.14.5 as their latest version, do you know whether those packagers will skip directly to 1.14.7, or will they first upload to 1.14.16 and then to 1.14.7? You would need ask those packagers, ...

Re: BfW is a game that relies on save-scumming too much

> People are already doing this with save-scumming and debug mode. What is save-"scumming"? Do you refer to the save functionality that allows people to save a game they are playing on the computer/device? It means reloading a to a previous turn after losing a unit due to bad luck (real or perceive...

Steam version passed to 1.14.7, but no communication of download off-steam nowhere for now. Was the steam update a mistake maybe ?
No, it is a new version. However, for better or worse, the current approach to doing releases is to push it out on Steam first then update everywhere else.

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Removed Units & Extra Units

How are you guys even still arguing about this? Existing mer-units already have tridents. Exactly how they get them is flavor text, at best.

Re: Poll: do you like Wesnoth RNG?

For me it's less that I like it; rather, I understand the decision that was made and that it means that sometimes I'm just going to get screwed over. I wouldn't be opposed to a change per se, but I recognize the current way of things serves a purpose.

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Base Units

The mask in general looks kind of weird on the Windrider - the white eyes are strange, and the head shape looks different as well.

Re: Custom Unit

Do you have any other add-ons, or is there more to your add-on than what you've posted so far? I'm not able to reproduce that problem.

Re: Custom Unit

With the add-on set up as attached and the "robin" ID added like you have below, the unit does show up for me in leader selection for the undead. I'm not sure how it's different than what you have though.
