Re: An usrukhar- Delfadors memoirs
Seeing it on a different screen I see some pixel detritus, so don't commit this one but give me any critiques before I do.

An usrukhar- Delfadors memoirs
hey all, been a while since I contributed, but I was playing through wesnoth again recently and felt embarrassed at how bad my tomb guardian portrait was. I'm quite a but more experienced now so I whipped this out last night. Firefly we can exchange them. Thanks.

Creative Commons Fantasy Portrait Marathon
Hey all, You might have seen art I've created for Wesnoth in the past. I hope in the near future to come back and do some campaign art, but right now I'm working on something a little similar. I intend to create a set of at least THIRTY freely licensed Fantasy Portraits crafted in a painterly style,...

Re: Campaign art - Descent into Darkness
I envy your cloth painting. Did you use a special brush for Young Malins robes?

It's a great drawing, but I can't shake the feeling that his arms seems kinda stubby

Re: Valkiers portraits: living in a permenant imagination
the head still seems too small. her whole head is only a little bigger than the size of one of her breasts from the looks of it. a simple cut and scale should fix the issue.

Re: Justinoperable- Rise of Wesnoth
In the original portrait he has a a big gold shoulder guard with a plate protecting his neck. I liked it and try to maintain some continuity with the old designs, so I kept it, but it's going to be made of crab chitin so the shapes are more organic, it should be more easily understood when the flats...

Re: EVILEST's stuff for TRoW
hey, this is a really great drawing! Just so you know, I started working on the Rise of Wesnoth portraits a while back, got Haldric completed and I think committed, and recently got started working on the portraits again. I intend to finish the whole series, but if the developers and Portrait Direct...

Re: Descent Into Darkness Campaign: Ghast Revision
It's definitely better in this proportion but I kinda miss how the whole mouth seemed to scrape the ground, almost like it was gulping up a poor sap, but being an artist myself I would not suggest you make such a serious change considering how good it already is.

Re: Valkiers portraits: WSAS rebirthing NR
Oh man, WSAS? Looks like I've missed two in a row. In any case, I take it NR stands for Northern Rebirth. Congrats and good luck. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Re: Justinoperable- Rise of Wesnoth
All my lurking made me miss drawing for Wesnoth, so I'm taking a poorly advised break from homework to present a rough line drawing for Typhon. I still have plenty of half finished portraits in this series (in fact I think only Haldric has been committed or am I mistaken), but this is just some impu...

Re: Giant Mudcrawler portrait
um, LordBob is co-portrait director. I think his opinions are a bit more important than to be brushed off as a Oh he's just in a bad mood. In any case, I think it's true, although I'm not sure exactly how I'd attack a mudcrawler that didn't look a bit cartoony. You could maybe try to break up the sh...

These look pretty cool so far although I think at least some of them (like the impact) would be cooler if they were in perspective.

Re: New portraits for Jevyan and Darken Volk
You should know that it's not typically best to randomly choose campaign-specific characters from disparate campaigns and do them. Also, in replacing campaign portraits, we intend to bring them in line with current mainline standards. If you are interested in working on Wesnoth portraits you should ...
