Re: Is there a spanish community in Wesnoth?
Though it's been a few years since I was active in multiplayer, I recall bumping into quite a few people who spoke primarily spanish.

Re: The future of wesnoth?
I first played somewhere between 0.6 and 0.8 (can't remember for sure) and one thing that I've noticed as a player is that art is continually being updated. And artists seem to have a knack for surprising me for updating something I thought would never change. Like terrain for instance, that's alway...

Re: logic for multiple reactionary attacks???
Geez Dave, you always manage to make something seem so obvious ly right. And again, I think it makes a lot more sense that the names/genders refer to the unit commander and that the unit as a whole has the abilities/attacks listed than that the land of Wesnoth is severely underpopulated. This is wha...

Re: I think I gonna give up....
Take a breath, and calm down. Getting frustrated will just make things worse. Play some campaigns and build some skill there. Have you ever played Eastern Invasion on Hard? And defeating all the enemy leaders in Evacuation? There's a task for you to do, but do ONE LEVEL AT A TIME. If you had played...

Re: An Opinion, Wesnoth is best played with Friends.
do u mean RL friend? I just found it is not too funny to play with random people for cooperative campaign as there are lots of quitters and/or new players who has little idea about the game. It's the best for me to play with some in-game friends. Yes, sorry, I meant RL friend. We were quite literal...

An Opinion, Wesnoth is best played with Friends.
Not sure if this should be in the MP forum or here but here goes. Randomly speaking... Been playing Wesnoth since around 0.7 (is that nearly 10 years now? Not sure, seen lots of graphics updates :D ), and gotta say, after introducing my other geeky friends to Wesnoth a couple of years ago, I find th...

Re: Which is the strongest faction?
I disagree. WARNING: Logical reasoning! With drakes flying over head (not talking about ground combat), a ballista needs to shoot upwards to hit the drake, yes? The problem is with the velocity and deceleration of the missile/bolt (and one unknown variable is the height at which drake gliders can fl...

Re: Which is the strongest faction?
But if they simply fly high, directly over the enemy, the enemy would be likely to kill more of their own troops with missile fire than the drakes with their fire.

Re: How do I get mp3 versions of the Wesnoth Playlist?
Perhaps this would be a good addition to the downloads section?
Not just for BfW fans, but also to make it more accessible to other GNU programs in need of decent music.

Re: Wesnoth as a board game - prototype 0.1
A note on the game length, (this isn't going to solve any problems by the way), perhaps instead of aiming for a game that takes 1/2 hour or an hour or even two, the game is designed to take 1/2 - 3 hours depending on options such as map size and possibly even being able to tweak the gold system (plu...

Re: Wesnoth as a board game - prototype 0.1
Hey Guys, I may be able to offer play testing. A good mate of mine both enjoy playing Wesnoth and wargaming (Warhammer Fantasy), although my mate is convinced that the RNG hates him, though using dice instead may bring him back in. Although I have not yet played, may I suggest you don't get rid of t...

I had considered that but the 1.4.x Changelog says that only Cyansaun Battlefield has been revised the 1.4 branch, and that was in 1.4.0

Re: The Multiplayer Map Reader's Digest
The image posted IS the correct and official one. I am wondering why it seems smaller to me.TheChosenOne wrote:This map seems to be smaller than usual IMHO...are you sure you're not playing a user-modified version of Isar?
My guess is that it was simply changed some versions ago without me noticing it.
