Re: Zombie Apocalypse RPG
Just curious: why is the melee attack of a submachinegun pierce? I'd be expecting impact (knocking down somebody with the weapon body).

Re: Valkiers portraits: WSAS rebirthing NR
Well what I guess people dislike about the hatchets is the fact that AFAIK throwing hatchets look something like this , thus they would have to be fixed somewhere pretty high on his back, which is just...unusual. Your hatchets give the feeling of a much longer handle strapped somewhere around mid of...

Shouldn't only the black paint be "dripping" from the emblem?
I guess the sceptre has been originally there so it was probably painted proffessionaly and just the black paintover has been done by the skeleton or his necromancer...

Re: What's your record for number of attacks without a hit?
Why not wait for Lucifuge to try to support his claim with a replay? It still is possible that he has it, and well I for one would be glad to see it. On a side note this is an interesting thread in showing how improbable things might happen (if on takes the claim to be true ) :) Simply take account ...

Re: The South Guard: Story pics and Portraits
Q. I disagree at least a bit - sometimes the biomechanics just does not work with the characters - they can't have that much different skeletons and they are not M.C. Eschers portraits. For example if you code an ability that doesn't work, somebody will tell you, that you have a bug which appears th...
Re: Hulavuta's Rants
similar to hte FPS/army expectations - at an airsoft game it is always lovely to see some newbies with an airsoft sniper rifle, because "hell AWM is the best weapon in CS" getiing shot again and again and complaining about other players playing unfair :) don't get me wrong I enjoy using a ...

Re: Promised Land: Goblin Campaign
I think his hands are either too low placed or the bow doesn't have the right direction (placing the bow aimed more downwards or the hands a bit higher should make the pose looking right)...anyway the stance with the bow just doesn't seem right. But since I am not an artist it's more of my personal ...

Re: New component to defense rating: avoid rating
There is another problem - already a paladin against WC's at day get's killed if there are too many because he kills them effectively enough so that the previous wave doesn't block the spaces around the paladin - this would make it even harder to defend for extremely strong units. You can just spam ...

Re: See the damage of the enemy if he attack you
I'm probably saying what is obvious, but the TOD on the turn of the selected enemy unit should be taken into consideration for the results calculation.

Re: Wesnoth Random Number Generator Changes
Well, since I like physics a lot more then computers...how about making a RNG based off nuclear decay? You know, like taking radioactive material, a geiger counter or something...perhaps a lot of radioactive material and several geiger counters - from what we know there is no way of determining the ...

Re: Swedish military faction
The sprites are as cool as ever :) One good pose for the sniper could be somehing like the guy on the left in this picture, I have two others in mind and will post them as soon as I find them or take a picture - I'm not suggesting you alter them, just want to give a reference in the case you'd be do...

Re: Wesnoth Tactics: Strategical Cardgame
I just scanned the previous posts shortly - don't really have much time. The idea was just to use what Velensk proposed but make it a bit more playable ... but well there is also the option of going with a linear battlefield (like ST:CCG or LOTR) - one terrain on both ends of the card; 3 possible ta...

Re: Wesnoth Tactics: Strategical Cardgame
Just an idea - the terrain cards could have multiple terrains (2 per card? or even 6 would be possible) next to each other, so that the game area can be reduced. If you would use some kind of tokens to identify units on the table, you wouldn't have to move them around - so you would have a line of u...
