Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
Yes, I know.
There was meant no harm and it wasn't really a suggestion. I simply can't await to see the revised lancer.

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
I accompany Lord.Bedham and woodmouse. I love the knight! His helmet, the lance and the detail of the lance-hook. I hope the is little need to change datails of the knight. He appears nice yet. Keep it up, master!

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
Pipeman : this has already been discussed... You mean LordBobs post from Feb 10 ? There he wrotes: Master bowman: - moving his sword to the right should dispell the feeling of hindrance - will go for a slightly longer arrow Before: http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/download/file.php?id=28160 After: http...

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
Yep, he looks lovely already. He will be awesome, when finished!
But maybe you rethink the arrow-fletching and the position of his sword. It would be very hindering between his legs.

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
I am pleased that the cavalry-line had started! I cannot wait until the knight and the templar are done. Your pictures are making the game much more - adult, and more worth to play it.

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
Indeed. With about 1.91 m body height, I rank among the bigger people, I think. And I use arrows with a lengh of 84-86 cm for my english longbow. Here you can see the relations between archer, his arms and the arrow: http://216.119.68.89/store/images/rudderbows/longbow1.JPG The arrow should reach fr...

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
Another masterpiece, eh? Hell, he looks great!
Impoving the contrast and giving the scaled down portrait little more shadows could make the picture even better. But I like our new pikeman anyway. Good job, LobBob!

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
Wow, he looks much better now. I like the new brigantine and the gorget, too. Very nice! But simply taking the old helmet, wouldn't be a wise decision. Because the pikeman would change the spearmans barbuta helmet to an iron hat with less protection and still no improvement of his FOV. A pointed hel...

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series
My goodness, gracious me! It's getting a bad atmosphere here by now. I think no one here has the authorisation giving orders to LordBob or someone else, who is working to improve this game. It should be LordBob and no one other, who has the last say about these portraits. They are his work. That sho...
