Re: Age of Trials v0.3.0 (19 May 2011) (Major update)
Just wanted to say - I've been on Wesbreak, and still am, but this Era is still something that sticks out to me. I'm amazed that you continue to work on it despite the fact that I'm the only one who's ever replied. Keep up the good work, and I'll be sure to play some when I get back from Wesbreak.

Re: Wesnoth Forum Era
I think it would be awesome if we could go beyond the "bland generic faction" for each of our six forum factions and define generic faction flavours. For example: Northern Rogues: chaotic faction with good mobility and defenses on average, ok damage output, but relatively expensive/less d...

Re: The Wesnoth Forum Faction
I volunteer to be in the 'evil' faction as well, if we end up having one, provided it isn't trolls and/or spammers. Basically, fit me wherever it makes things convenient, I don't care a whole lot.

Re: The Wesnoth Forum Faction
I'm a fairly generic forum member; I've done a bit of coding, but nothing that ever actually made it to the add-ons page, I play and am interested in balance, etc, etc. That said, I'm pretty much on Wesbreak right now, so place me wherever it makes things easier.

Re: The Wesnoth Forum Faction
Works for me. Both the idea of moving towards unique AMLAs, and the description provided. Whatever tweaking is necessary is fine by me.

Re: The Settlers of Wesnoth for BfW 1.9.2
When choosing a game length, yes I can see labels in the water, and there is an island on the minimap. Re: The Settlers of Wesnoth for BfW 1.9.2
Hotseat, otherwise known as 'Local Game' the fourth option on the list of what kind of Multiplayer you'd like to connect to. Game closes, as in the window vanishes, and Wesnoth must be reopened. No error report or anything, it just pauses for a moment and then quits. And I haven't found this to happ...

Re: Proximity (0.1.2)
If there's a tie, Player 1 wins.
Example:
Victory condition: Territories
Player 1 Territories: 26
Player 2 Territories: 26
Player 1 Armies: 266
Player 2 Armies: 289
Winner: Player 1
Is this an intentional part of the rules, or is it a WML shortcoming?

Re: The Settlers of Wesnoth for BfW 1.9.2
I apologize if this has been mentioned before, I skimmed the whole conversation and it didn't seem to be. Basically, if I try to open this add-on in Hotseat (haven't tested anywhere else yet), it opens fine, I get the starting screen that asks how long a game I want, and I can select one. Now, the e...

Treebeard is Fangorn. Fangorn's his original name, the Forest was named after him. I think that somewhat ends any quibbling.artisticdude wrote:Technically, it was Treebeard who said that (he lives in Fangorn Forest), but we won't quibble.tapik wrote:As Fangorn always says: "Don't be hasty."

Exponentially? Really? That would really only make advancing once feasible at all.inferno8 wrote:I'm going to make the amount of XP required to AMLA increase exponentially.

Re: Monsters
I tried it out, and really enjoyed it. I suggest you allow heroes some way to upgrade, as the necrophage quickly outstrips any of the heroes. Also, one bug I found is that whenever any of the Monster's units kill an enemy, the "Monster's" moves get set to 2, no matter what they were before...

It's not a bug. You should, however, see a witch somewhere on the map. Do you?

Re: To Lands Unknown
I believe the database in question was one I mentioned, that in the Fire Canyons scenario, moving to a certain hex (I think it was 28.51 or somewhere near there, I'd have to check to make sure) 'freed' a shaman every time you moved there, rather than the first rime only. Oh, and if the ogre starts p...
