Re: Children of Dragons
Back again. Finally passed! Wouf... For those like me who had troubles: - Yes, never fight on the side of the boat, let them board. - They're not that fast on land, don't hesitate to gather back in the middle of the boat and optimize the villages by night - You will loose some spearmen, but they're ...

Re: Humor Campaign: Talentless Mage (1.8)
Hi all, Great campaign, but incredibly tough IMHO!! I'm on easy and already use load/reload tricks to make it! (Most of time I play on normal). And now I'm stuck in the faerie scenario. I just recruit during turn1 and then start to flee with the main characters and some vets (2 lvl3 + 1lvl2). The re...

Re: Children of Dragons
Hi all, Very nice campaign so far! Lot of fun. But I'm completely stuck in "The Sea Journey". No matter how I try to handle it (few high levels, more recruits, balance), I'm overhelmed by the nagas, and start loosing leveled units by turn 4!! I've not been further than Turn 6 (gasp!!) Am I...

Re: New Campaign: The Stormblade
Hey! Don't be depressed! I can't pass it doesn't mean it's too hard. Maybe it's just too hard for me to have passed it already, and I'm not very good ;) One feedback is not enough to make a decision. Here is mine. Maybe some other people will say something different and then the problem comes from m...

Re: New Campaign: The Stormblade
Hello! I've tried the campaign (1.6.4, campaign version 0.9.1, level "normal" -supposed to be the easiest one, but believe me: it's not easy!!). Nice campaign so far! I've enjoyed it! As said above, some scenarii are imbalanced. I've already found 2 ones (but not that sure for the second)....

Re: Campaign: Autumn Kingdoms - Prologue (Now v1.6.x Compatible)
I've just played (and failed :P) "The Purge" yesterday, and I have a comment about it. I don't understand why the map on the other side of the river is hidden. After all, this is supposed to be the rebels land, so how can they not be aware of what there is on the other side? This makes the...

Re: Any advice on the Southern Shore on Hard?
OK, one year has passed, I guess the level has been modified, but like someone else before, I'm... blocked! I play on normal level. Answer to classical questions: - Yes, you have less money than your opponent. Beside, the only ships you can recruit are far below what he gets, and I'm not sure but I ...

Re: Scenario Review - EI: Evacuation
Me again, I won't copy what I've written before. Just an additional info: I've spent over one month on this single scenario! Never ever ever ever (for those who really don't understand) been able to save ANY of my vets! Most of time, I just end up trying to find THE unique combination, turn by turn ...

Re: Scenario Review - EI: Evacuation
(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on? Medium, 1.6 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 10, maybe more. I'll tell if I can finish it one day without having totally lost all my money and most of my vet. (3) How clear did you find the scenario obje...

Re: The Rise of Wesnoth: Rise of Wesnoth
Hum, seems like my yesterdays' post was lost.
The answer was:
1 - Sorry for the delay, computer access issue, could not remember the version.
2 - The version is 1.5.4
(by the way: yet another failure yesterday evening :'( )

Re: The Rise of Wesnoth - final scenario
(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Easy. I always play on easy level, because I NEVER go back in the campaign to make previous scenarios in a different way. I think this aspect makes the game boring. (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 1...

Re: Scenario Review: DiD 10 - Alone at Last
(1) Easy on 1.4.7 (debian packaged version) (2) 9 (I don't write 10 in case an expert could win with the army i've brought to this level) (3) Very clear (I was suspecting the bad trick about bringing the book back...) (4) The paladins and sister appearing in 2 different areas in the same time is not...
