Art for Other UMC's
I want to separate the art I make for my own stuff vs that which I make for others. If this seems unnecessary, please correct me and delete this thread. Thanks. Fishes for some terrain stuff. (I'll edit this single post as more stuff is made and the people who requested this stuff can yell at me here)

Re: dagger blood: first wesnoth project
this is the 'dagger blood' code: https://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?p=685309#p685309 assuming this is all lua code You are correct, this appears to be Lua code. What it apparently does is creates an overlay for a unit depending on some sort of weapons special or ability presented in the unit ...

Dunefolk Companion Faction(s) + Era Add-On
Hello, everyone. If you’ve lurked in the Art Workshop forums lately, you’ll notice I’ve been working on a new faction. Ironically, this seems to be badly timed, as I had no clue there was currently work being done revise the dunefolk and their lore. This faction exist in the far eastern desserts of ...

Artwork for Kerlath-Dunefolk UMC Campaign and Faction
The following is my work on a new Kerlath-Dunefolk-based campaign and faction or era. This is somewhat of a conceptual campaign more than anything--a framework for a later series of sorts, and certainly not the finished idea. So, as I improve and refine the story line, I'll probably remove old sprit...

Rework of Old Projects - Orcs/Man-Orcs
It's been quite some time since I've done any sprite-work. I've decided to work on some of my old projects, namely the Apocalypse Era, and my Orcish campaign. These first couple units are for the mystical Human faction which are utilized in the Campaign. They resemble Orcs. Some Orcs will also be in...

Re: Rise of the Orcs - artwork on page 3
That sounds like a good idea. I'll try that. Right now I'm taking a couple days off from developing this right now.
Thanks!

Re: Rise of the Orcs - artwork on page 3
Ok. I do understand what pillow shading is, and how to eliminate it, that is not the problem. I just wasn't sure where it was at, that's all.
Thanks again!
EDIT: just used another computer to view my sprites... They are dark!

Re: Simplified Wesnoth Board Game
Good job, not sure if this belongs in here though or game development.
I love pen and paper/tabeltop games, because they are so inventive and require a little more then "graphics" to keep your interest. Good luck, hope it goes well.

Re: Rise of the Orcs - artwork on page 3
I guess this must be what they call karma or punishment from the god, for drawing such dark sprites. Or maybe it was the monitor problem in the first place? Lolz, maybe so. You find the scavenger to be too dark? I meant it to look akin to the typical Australian Aboriginal, but could also be all the...

Re: Rise of the Orcs - artwork on page 3
Thank you. I do feel the forums have been slow recently, but eh. Sorry if my sprites are too dark, however right now I have my laptop rigged up to a dull flat screen because the screen went out on my laptop. The contrast is rather heavy and resetting the colors only worsens it. On a side note. The i...

Re: Rise of the Orcs - artwork on page 3
Thanks. I intend to create animations, however they are not my strong point to say the least. :P Troll faeri are not that far fetched, elves, according to their inventors the Norse were pretty much trolls (known as Alfyr), and so were dwarves. edit: verick's sprite, just 2 units (or so) left to go a...

No replies... Oh well
Working on a portrait for Verick. It's just a rough sketch right now, but I love Wacom tablets now!

Re: Rise of the Orcs + Adversary of Andiun Thread
Scenario II added. Tell me what you think. Also, if possible, what do you think will make scenario 1 more challenging. I can't seem to figure it out.
