Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
That looks brilliant! I love the expression
[non-artist's comment] I agree with SFault, though, that his right hand (on the axe) looks a little odd. Is he holding it, or just resting his hand on it?

These are really, really nice.
As TSI says you've got a good handle on the robes.

Re: Standing and idle animations?
Didn't the shaman originally have a little animation where she turned to face the player and winked?

Re: water animation
Disclaimer: I'm not a pixel artist, or an artist at all, for that matter. Have any of you played Advance Wars? That game had a simple animation for water where the waves went up and down the beach all at the same time, so they were always moving either towards or away from the beach and always match...

Re: stone bridge
This is absolutely gorgeous.
One comment (from a non-artist, mind you) - it looks a little "smooth" compared to the other terrain. Does anyone else think so?

Re: Kalifa facelift
I think that these are awesome sprites, and can't wait to see the faction complete.
I have a question for tsi - would it be OK for me to use the cavalry sprites in the (slowly being revived) Ancient Era, at least until I can make something original? Thanks.

It's good to see you here again, shiremct! These sprites are looking very nice... perhaps I'll find the time to resurrect the Ancient Era

Re: Crossbow fire attack
I rather like SFault's version, although the bow looks rather blurry.
I'm not an artist by any means, but I think that getting a good semitransparent effect would improve the image. Just a suggestion

Re: Art for Bad Moon Rising, again : outlaws
Those are very impressive! I particularly like the ones in the middle.
My only quibble is that the female line on the far right look like their heads are slightly out of proportion - does anyone else see this?

Re: Zero's art. Stuff and fluff.
Those sprites have attained a high level of badassery! Great design, great poses and great detailing. I don't think the heads are an issue, although I'm not much of a pixel artist.

Re: Art for Bad Moon Rising, again : Daemon Girl
I agree that the wings could probably be improved; they look like they're at a different angle to the body.
Apart from that detail, this is the absolute business. Keep it up

Re: Scripts for Wesnoth
Nice! The new drake phonograms look very stylish 8) Progress is going on, but I still can't get the kerning to work on the steelhand. On the other hand, so to speak, the drake "mundane" script could be made into a TTF without too much trouble because of the lack of kerning, so I'll give it a go. Unf...

Astounding!

It's definitely there - it just happens to be the same colour as the tree behind it.Zigg wrote:Red team flyers bottom wing segment vanished.
