(1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on? Normal 1.8.5 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 2. The part that you can actually do something about is getting to and killing 3 lone orc leaders. Excuse me? I finished in turn 11 because I thought I will have to hold in th...

Re: Scenario Review: THoT 5 - Invaders

(1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on? Normal, 1.8.5 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 7. The jump in difficulty is HUGE, as compared to previous scenarios, but still perfectly doable. I had a keep of lvl2's and recruited only two lvl1 units as meatshields beca...

Re: Scenario Review: EI 15 - Approaching Weldyn

(1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on? Normal 1.8.5 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 3 - I only used a few leveled units here, since I figured it is a nice map to level up another MoL and a Halberdier. (3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives? Clear....

(1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on? Normal 1.8.3 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 1 - Something wrong with the AI? Re: Scenario Review - EI: Evacuation

Just wanted to say that I managed to kill all the enemy leaders by turn 9, so it is by no means impossible to do! I played on 'medium' and started with 402 gold. I recalled a full castle of my lvl3 and lvl2 vets (mostly Iron Maulers and Paladins, which turned out to be quite useful later on) and mov...

Re: Scenario Review - EI: Captured

(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on? Medium, Wesnoth 1.8.5 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 3-4. Honestly, and since I had a lot of leveled Heavy Infantry and Horsemen, I didn't get a sidekick for the heroes; it was still basically a walk i...

Re: Presenting Anima - a new tool for BfW artists

Boucman>Could you elaborate a bit? I think there might be some misunderstanding here about what does it mean to create a unit from scratch. The way I see it, and I have just positively tested it (win32 version) - you launch the program, choose the image root, choose an animation from the list, click...

Re: Presenting Anima - a new tool for BfW artists

maybe a simple template could help, a WML snippet where you just have to add the image names... BroodKiller how hard would this be to do ? Half of this tool is seeing the animation, but half of this tool is also generating .cfg so that you don't have to deal with animation WML, I thought... It shou...

Re: Presenting Anima - a new tool for BfW artists

The program must work with .cfg files, because it is the way Wesnoth handles animations. I may add some support for the image formats for drag'n'drop or automatic code generation, but it is a late priority for the moment, really. Currently, any Wesnoth animator simply must know WML, so it's only nat...

Re: Presenting Anima - a new tool for BfW artists

Soo...important new priorities are auto-detecting the wesnoth paths and emulating the attack defense behaviour. I will see if I will proceed quick enough, or if I'll stick to the "release early, release often" philosophy, and do some small updates. I will try to get the alpha working too, ...

Re: Presenting Anima - a new tool for BfW artists

Bug report: The app runs, but I get this failed assertion twice as it loads: "(Anima:8545): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_get_size: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed" This is something that I am aware of, and it appears to be a wxGTK-specific issue. It has nothing to do with t...
