Re: I've read a lot already: Newb observations and questions
By the way, how should I level up mages in HttT? Are Druids/Shydes better then WMs/MoLs? Red Magi vs. Sylves vs. Silver Magi? My levelups should be mainly Captains, Healers, Damage-Inflictors, and a few quick Scouts: Healers & Leaders are quite important and high damage/tile units are needed to ...

Re: Can't Compile Trunk - Gzip Iostreams
This could be caused by version mismatch between boost headers and libraries. The error message mentions boost::iostreams::detail::zlib_base::xdeflate but there's no such symbol either in 1.38 or 1.40. It was introduced in 1.41 so you seem to somehow use headers from later boost version. OK. I'll u...

Re: Can't Compile Trunk - Gzip Iostreams
Ubuntu Karmic. I installed Boost IOStreams-dev 1.38. Now upgrading to 1.40 and seeing if it fixes the problem

Can't Compile Trunk - Gzip Iostreams
Hello Everyone. I can't compile the wesnoth trunk. Trying to compile gives me this: $ scons scons: Reading SConscript files ... Or is there a 3rd party Wesnoth repository I'm not aware of? And it's called SVN. How to do it: su aptitude update (as lenny BfW does not include pango) aptitude install subversion scons build-minimal debhelper quilt libsdl-image1.2-dev libfreetype6-dev libsdl-mixer1.2-dev libsdl-net1.2-dev ...

Re: Looking for WML collaboration/tips.
Hmm, specific questions huh? Well I'd be asking quite a lot of those becasue I would like to know how to program the whole thing (random terrain change, randum stuff appeearing on the battlefield à la Living Caves, putting extra units on the map at the start of the scenario, etc…). Well, one thing ...

Typo. I meant [unit] instead of [unit_type]Turuk wrote:What? But you said you were using 1.5.9, so it would indeed be [unit_type].arielbys wrote:The "real" problem was that I written [unit_type] instead of [unit] in units/apitf_units.cfg

Re: Ghostly Campaign Problems
You do not need to post in all caps for part of your message. Do not worry, people will read your whole post. Your error comes from the way you entered the recruit names. Look at a scenario from another campaign for reference. It should read: recruit=Elvish Archer,Elvish Fighter,Elvish Shaman,Elvis...
