Re: The History of Burin
Uploaded. It was my first campaign and I realize more and more my errors. So if I come back to developing it (I still have some hope) I probably completly rewrite it.

Re: Campaign dialog log
But anyone could just write it down anyway... I guess it is different between active cheating (I have to do some action - like find piece of paper/open notepad, edit file) and passive cheating (press button view previos conversation). Possibly it could be 'fixed' by conditionally switching off for ...

Re: Campaign dialog log
1. The problem with looking into wml file is that it contains spoilers (sometimes the dialog file is separated so it is made worst)
2. I think whole log would break remembering password in two brothers campaign

Re: Drakes - some thoughts on Drake society, biologie and origin
It's almost funny to see everyone discussing and debating so seriously an imaginary creature. But really, this is quite an interesting thread. Lots of good ideas and such are appearing. http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/fiction_rule_of_thumb.png The problem is that drakes are the less familiar (read have...

Re: Drakes - some thoughts on Drake society, biologie and origin
Why does sophistication have to include sentience in one gender? Just because we feel that that is sophistication, does not mean it is the ONLY form of sophistication. For the exact reasons that being single parent is much harder - it would put them at the large disadvantage. I'd go even to the ext...

Re: Drakes - some thoughts on Drake society, biologie and origin
As for the non-sentinent females: This seems to be a case that resultet from an evolution, so we'd have to ask ourselfs what is the advantage of a non-sentinent female. With drakes evolution is a bit difficult, but we don't have any real world examples of non-sentinent sexual partners, which I take...

Re: The disc of Railan
Hmm. If silver mages use the same pathways the question is why short exists (I assume - not mapped as map is of long distances?) corresponds to villages? Are exits more suitable for humans to live?

Re: The disc of Railan
Did you all read what Daxion said? The disc isn't magical. It describes a frighteningly difficult maze that must be navigated inside an otherwise-useless portal to make it go somewhere. Ups. Sorry - I missed one post. However it still does not explain how the maze was created. Also why the disk loo...

Re: The disc of Railan
- If it is a pathway-maker, the chances of it being forgotten are fairly low - this would have great strategic importance, even if movement along it were limited to a single person. (Unless the spell is extremely complicated and only for one person... but even then.) ! Well - imagine one civilisati...

Re: Drakes - some thoughts on Drake society, biologie and origin
1. With such properties magic particle would be exotic (BTW. " It is used in certain speculative theories, such as on the construction of wormholes." - Silver Mages' teleportation). That "specualtive" theorie is called: general theory of relativity. All you need is an "exot...

This way an object like huge magical lizard can acquire large draught which help him to fly. But of course large mass means large inertia ...

No - but currently we are more on brainstorm-level (at least from my observation). You may or may not like my explanation find it realistic/non-realistic/too-realistic. But as far as I can see your explanation is not official (if it is going to next wesnoth release please state so) - so I tried to ...

Re: Drakes - some thoughts on Drake society, biologie and origin
Currently we have 1. only Drake males fighting in battles 2. people not like the current not-sentient female (which is much not human at all IMHO). Did you completely ignore my suggestion that we can retcon the Clasher line to female? o_O No - but currently we are more on brainstorm-level (at least...
