Re: Orc animations
Sure, I'll look into these things, though I'll be adding the colour as well to see how it works out after all this time. It might take a few attempts, so don't stand on your toes waiting for it.

Re: Orc animations
Ah, worry not sirs, I've been looking to redraw it, and as of now I've got the time once more. My absence hasn't by any means been for disappointment (as I knew for a fact that learning a whole new type of motion would take more than one shot, hence merely sketches of the motion), but due to being b...

Re: Orc animations
Had to do a lot of learning and re-learning, so took me a while to get the movement going. I didn't want to rush with this, so here's a base for the movement - do tell me if you want modifications, or if I should just go ahead and flesh it out. Look at that little orc skip! assassin-0.1.gif EDIT: Ca...

Orc animations
After a long time of absence, I've been considering a comeback to the Wesnoth community, though with less charitable intentions this time. Are you guys still making money with the mobile version? That is, are you still paying for animation sets for the troops? My current employment is coming to an e...

Re: story art
Aargh! All that vividness... My eyes! :augh: It's cool, that's for sure, and the sketchy style looks pretty good, but I can't help thinking that Wesnoth might deserve at least slightly more gritty story art, as in, not that saturated. As for the level of detail, you could very well go with what you'...

Re: Campaign art - Sceptre of Fire
Just dropping by to say that being very keen to viking culture and such, the facial expressions your dwarves have are absolutely great. That Thursagan pic is especially fun to look at with his woodlandish appearance and old-drunk face.

Re: TSI gets back into it: Drake Enforcer & Warden
I'm somewhat aware of the anatomy, since I made quite a few drake sketches a bit more than a year ago for thespaceinvader to colour up, and I still think the knee is a bit glinched as it is now.

Re: TSI gets back into it: Drake Enforcer & Warden
Nice, it looks like you've gotten a lot better at sketching during my absence. :D Just a quick glance at it for some on-the-run critique, you've done a good job with the perspective, especially that of the axe, though design-wise those double-spikes could stand to be a little more in flow with the r...
Re: Lustmord
I've got a feeling I actually posted some stuff from this guy on a wesnoth music-thread a couple of years ago. Nice stuff.

Re: Discussion of modern fantasy
I suppose at least part of the problem for me is that part of current fashion is to try to write grey and grey or black and black morality into the politics/sides. This may be viewed as more realistic but it is unsatisfying to me because it makes me indifferent to the whole issue. I can very much r...

Re: Regarding Santa Claus
Also, if Santa Claus is always portrayed as a chubby white-bearded human then why do Christmas poems say that he a "jolly old elf"? Are there any other elves that are old-looking and overweight, or is he the one exception? I'm not sure if there's any straight connection, but here the word...

Re: My holiday soap box.
:eng: That would be Good Friday you're thinking of. They wanted to go ahead and get the killing over with before the Shabbat/Sabbath, which is Saturday. Easter is the "third day", which was the resurrection. I guess it makes sense to celebrate Christ coming back from being dead at the sam...
