Re: Android support thread
Alep really sorry to hear that... I noticed this today, when I tried to install what I believe to be the real Wesnoth on android on my shiny new Nvidia Shield Tablet; I just downloaded the 1.12 apk from your site and it's simply great that I can play it even before the linux version :-) Thanks for y...

Re: V1.9/1.10 - 09 - Bounty Hunters
Hi, dabber, in my hands, this scenario is playable, providing that you have a few level 2 woses. It would be nice to have a couple of about to level units to block the corners during the first night. Thanks for the hints; just to be clear, are the woses and about to level units to be sacrified? I d...

Re: Wesnoth for Android - wich one?
Would you really prefer a version 1.10 with the old interface that will never update to 1.12 or higher as the code isn't easily portable? That's my point; I'm not familiar with wesnoth's codebase, but I guess much of it has nothing to do with UI (AI, network, rules engine, sound, most of rendering ...

Wesnoth for Android - wich one?
Hi everyone, first of all let me thank both cjhopman and alep for their both great Android versions. As I have bought both and played both quite a lot (on a nexus 7 - and I also play it on the PC) I will try to share my thoughts about them and compare them; all criticism are there with the intent of...

Re: V1.9/1.10 - 09 - Bounty Hunters
(1) What difficulty levels and what version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Version 1.10.7 - easy and medium (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) easy - 3 / hard 10+ (couldn't beat it without cheating) (3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives? perfectly clear (4)...

Re: Android port coming soon...
As I already said, I think that paying for Wesnoth for Android is absolutely fine and it could be ok to pay when new major versions come up (once a year or so). I just think that the hassle of some saved games not working after the update seems far less that having to buy the app again; after all no...

Re: Android port coming soon...
Where can I find some infos on building wesnoth for android? I guess scons should work but it's not clear to me which tools are needed to compile it (in particular for arm since I will build it on a x86 machine). I also agree with the fact that the developer deserves something for his work, so I wil...

Re: Great victory for Wesnoth
Nice joke! I read it only today, but I realized it was a joke at about the second row of the post! I do confess that last year I believed to the wii one!
