Re: 1.10 and 1.11 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising
Okay; keep up the good work! I've always been a fan of these campaigns and really love the storylines in them.
And I am working on some music things, not for Wesnoth right now though. I do have some ideas for Wesnoth music I'll get around to though.

Just curious, how come Scarrion becomes almost entirely indoctrinated and Raenna retains most of her will? Is it just because she was stronger-willed to begin with?

Re: Best and Worst MAINLINE campaigns and scenarios
Under the Burning Suns and The Rise of Wesnoth are definitely my two favorite campaigns; love the storylines and characterizations in both, and they both have fun gameplay in very different ways. I have mixed feelings on Northern Rebirth; I can empathize with both who hate it for being overly-grand ...

Re: BMR+Trinity: Clarifying/Fixing the Story
But they weren't actually under the influence of Kthon, right? They simply blundered into the temple because the orcs didn't really know the first thing about it. After that, Carghanna's voice was the only and indirect influence until Belleros actually encountered her in the cave, at which point the...

Re: BMR+Trinity: Clarifying/Fixing the Story
Thanks for the clarifications. The whole "political" situation with reference to the Primevals I think should be explored more in BMR because I didn't understand where most of it came from at all, though it's true that would be difficult because of their language. But one thing I still don...

(1) What difficulty levels and game (& campaign) versions have you played the scenario/campaign on? If reviewing a specific scenario, please specify. 1.9 easy (or the easiest setting, I forget what it was called) Trinity (2) How difficult did you find the scenario/campaign? (1-10) 8 (3) How clea...

Re: Silvan Sanctuary (possible replacement for "Elf land")
I think the reason it sounded abrupt is the chimes - the chimes to me signify the beginning of something pretty quiet and subdued, which the sudden medium-loud chord at the beginning isn't.

Re: Silvan Sanctuary (possible replacement for "Elf land")
I was listening in anticipation as it loaded and buffered, but the beginning really caught me by surprise; it is really too abrupt. Maybe make a little crescendo for the string entrance. At the part when the timpani or whatever the percussive instrument a little over halfway through the piece comes ...

Re: Silvan Sanctuary (possible replacement for "Elf land")
It doesn't feel finished to me (and you didn't say that it was, I know). For an elven sanctuary it needs more "nature" in it. Maybe chirping birds (in the quiet pause at the end) or water/rain effects in the middle. I disagree. Such effects would cheapen the music in my opinion. Also, the...

Re: A Silver Wind (another try)
This version is basically done in terms of length - except for the very end. I'm having trouble with this ending; I don't want just a loud full orchestra restatement of the theme - that would be boring. Any thoughts?

(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on? 1.78 Medium (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 5 - a bit challenging, but doable. I managed to get it in my first try with only two veteran losses (a knight and a red mage). I came into it with almost 700 ...

Oh; haha, never noticed that before. Attentive ear.Tyler Johnson wrote: There is also a mistake in your melody, I'll print it out later, as well as sad.ogg is in 7/4, not 4/4.

Re: Music during the Credits...
I'm a fairly decent pianist (I would like to think ) and I know the wonderful versatility of the instrument. I don't think there's a consensus against the piano; has anyone actually objected to it? At any rate, count me in in support of the piano.

Re: A Sad Transcripotion
Er... it's very interesting to see the least. I don't really see the difference, though, besides splitting up the notes between a few instruments. And I presume [Title], [Subtitle], [Composer], and [Arranger] are unintentional, as well as all the blank pages. :P I thought I might take a shot at rear...

Re: A Silver Wind (another try)
I think I'll just finish the piece using SSO samples and decide what to do from there. I think I'll get a keyboard this Christmas, so that will probably help with the quantization.
