Re: drake fighter complete
I did not really expected to get this much attentions on this piece. If this is any indication of the number of people interested, I might just change it. I somehow thought the sprites looked a bit like they had scoops on their hands, so this ended up like this. That is what I get coming back and tr...

Re: drake fighter wip
I finally became motivated enough to get this to where it could be considered a reasonable portrait. I don't plan to fix any of the problems anytime soon (unless of course it is needed). I'm going to be busy with other portraits soon. If anyone needs a drake fighter for a campaign or something I hop...

Re: Jake's Art Corner, Now with TWL stuff [Critique Encouraged]
I went ahead and made a basic red line for the body, head, and right arm. Hope you don't mind. He currently does not have much of a neck, the chest curves out in an odd way, his right arm(view's left) is too small. For the arm holding the staff, I think it might have more balance for the way he is ho...

Re: Anybody got any work for me to do?
but what happens when they sit next to a healer and it goes back up again? They do as an amoeba does by splitting to make new soldiers  . It is better than several alternative explanations. An even better explanation is that once a solider becomes wounded it is removed from combat to wait for...

Re: drake fighter wip
Also note that the anatomy doesn't need to conform to human standards, only to look physically convincing. It probably would look more interesting if it would deviate more from the "reptile head stuck on a green human body" trope. Real lizards mostly look feeble, but for example komodo dr...

Re: drake fighter wip
That was fast (I'm used to waiting days for responses in some places). Thanks for pointing out the arm Spaceinvader. From the start I felt that the original pose was a bit fly-swatted. I'm not sure how much better this is, but at least now it does not have so many competing directions. Something sti...

drake fighter complete
I'm really not quite sure why I even went this far on this, as it will probably not fit with anything else that is already being made. It also probably shows too much motion compared to others. Someone might possibly find it useful sometime, but that is still a big maybe. I guess that I mostly wante...

Re: heavy infantry portrait(wip)
Well, since the last time I was here I had a computer die that had to be replaced, and well at the time I just did not care to continue with this little project. Just recently I had the urge to draw so I brought up photoshop did a little sketch and some shading and this is what came out. Yes the arm...

Re: heavy infantry portrait(wip)
I went for a redraw because as spaceinvader said it looks puny. I mean the arms look like they are covered with flexible plastic pipes.
So here is the redraw. On the right arm I'm going to fix the first extension coming out of the shoulders and overall clean up the lines.

heavy infantry portrait(wip)
Right now it is just an empty suit of armor with flats and little shading. So how is it? Methinks the lines need improvement.

Re: Artwork for Children of Dragons
Here is Freon. I'll still consider it a wip, although it is far enough along to be considered a finished picture. One this one I was really going for a smooth and fast appearance. Also MarkP ,campaign designer, I want to hear your opinion. Does it work or not? If not what can fix it? If you think th...

Re: peasant (updated)
imo the foreshortening on this weapon is too much. Also the pants don't wrap all the way around on his right.
