Re: Campaign art - Sceptre of Fire
You know, that would be quite interesting to do, if somewhat time-consuming. There's already a good half of the current loy portraits that I'm tempted to redo anyway  I was kidding but should you start such a project, that would be more than awesome! That would be... Magnifesome! I would gla...

Re: Campaign art - Sceptre of Fire
Considering SoF takes place 24-39 years after TRoW, shouldn't the (human) portraits look more like the new High Middle Ages portraits used for TRoW? Granted, it actually is intended to be semi-legendary so as in our world, later centuries might tell the story as if it happened at this time. I agree...

Re: Heir to the Throne: Portraits
Loving it... wait, I said it already... Lovint it A LOT! The elvished version is very nice (the fact he's properly shaved is a nice difference). I really like the glad version. The distinction is interesting: it really tells "I have seen war". I'll however second Thespaceinvader about the ...

Re: Heir to the Throne: Portraits
Loving it! :D Although, considering the "elvish influence" that has been discussed here, the bad shaving feels a bit strange from a guy who lived in a society where hygiene and appearance is so important. This leads me to another suggestion: a tired version of main portraits, considering t...

Re: Does UtBS need portraits?
At first, I thought it was a Kitty portrait. Your style is extremly close to her first works for Wesnoth! Compare: http://exong.net/wesnoth-attach/files/longbowwoman05_133.png I have faith that, with attention to improvement that our artmasters adviced, you can become a great wesnoth portrai...

Re: Aragwaith art thread
Genetic heritage, cultural bleaching among the warriors, latest fashion in "aragwaithi vogue"?Why?
I like your latest longswordsman. very nice work, as always!

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
I love what this "little" guy is becoming. Especially, the amber eye and the little bird in his other eye. Very contemplative.
A great wose!

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
Love it!
I just noticed something. They both seem completly unarmed. Is it intended?
Playing this campaign is going to be so great to play with all those characters!

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
This portrait just gave a new adjective to the elves: badass! :D It's really this kind of elves (him or the "old and tired" one that kitty made) who really gives a soul to this faction. I just love it. That and the design, very original. The other knight could get a frankish armor instead ...

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
That could work. Some kind of necromantic throne of judgement (or damnation in this case)couldn't the great lich just be the guy in the throne on the top, and everything else his "mount" ?

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
I like both portraits although(edit: why on earth did I put that word there? :hmm: ) very much. i can't wait to play this campaign again with those great portraits. I understand what Major is saying about the curly hair. It's not that the curly hair should be more defined (they're not supposed to: h...

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
I really love what you did with Aethyr but it's hard to choose between the tabard and the no-tabard. It would be nice to see the heraldry but it's sad to hide that sweet armor. :hmm: As for the elves, I like what you did but I have the same feeling you have about theim: they would do great Quenoth e...

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
I love what you did with the archmage. For dwarves and Elves, I think you got it right: culture doesn't change much but fashion could change. You could even try to apply some form of philosophical evolution in their style (like christian passed from gothic dark/death/skulls to the very enlighted bar...

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
I'm happy to help :) I really love what you did with those two. We can clearly see. The only wierd - but in a good way - thing is the face of Haldric: he really looks like an unpleasant guy but not an evil one. It's a nice change from the usual noble face of the campaign heroes. Really great work. T...

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
Haldric has changed but I can't really say I love it as Haldric. He's really cool but I can't identify him as Haldric. I can live without the trousers but less with the modern style. The old version was more ancient-looking which is better in my opinion. It's wierd that the wesnothi had exactly the ...
