Is this intended behaviour?
No, that wasn't quite intended, thanks for reporting it! It will be fixed in the next update, though I think existing units in an ongoing game will continue to have this issue.

Re: 1.12 SP Campaign: Trinity

Hello Xanri,

Yes, it is my intention to get it onto the 1.14 add-on server, once I've got it all fixed and have put it through a test-run.

It's taking a while, but it should happen. Not sure when, unfortunately.

EDIT: the version on github should (mostly) work on 1.14.

Re: 1.14 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising

1.10.2 has been uploaded to the BfW 1.14 add-on server. I tried to make the potential recruits thing that confused Rhylla more obvious to the player; it might be nicer to make a GUI theme field such as gold or villages count (like I'd tried to do in the previous version), but I don't see how to do i...

Re: Archaic Era (BfW 1.14)

1.8.2 has been sent to the BfW 1.14 add-on server. This includes some minor graphics update, and the start of a better organized, less ad-hoc AMLA system. It's not fully wired in yet, so a further update will be necessary. It may not have much impact on standard MP matches, but it should be relevant...

Re: 1.14 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising

Hi, I recently started playing this campaign on 1.14.1 and in Fort Kuhle, there are a bunch of events that trigger when you capture certain villages. The people in the villages (I'm guessing) say that they'll join Lorenzon for varying reasons and say they're making their way to his camp. I waited 2...

Re: 1.14 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising

Version 1.10.1 has been uploaded, there are some very slight balancing changes in the early scenarios and some graphics updates. Incremental progress is better than no progress. (1) dogs don't have xp bars in the first playable scenario. out of experience i would expect they would not lv up either. ...

Re: Archaic Era (BfW 1.14)

I know this really doesn't belong here, but I couldn't find a thread to Archaic Resources. So I just leave it here. One of the image from Archaic Resources interfered with a completely game, which was not using any active mods. I am talking about wc II and the image is /images/terrains/bellows. It ...

Re: Outsider Art for Bad Moon Rising

Back to working on Archaic Era or Bad Moon Rising. Some portraits, in various stages of completion. Royal_Hound.jpg I'm not supposed to say anything bad about the "law & order" GOP, so let me just say I hope the beautiful people who have worked so hard to be so disgusting get what they deserve befor...

That dragon rider could be really impressive with the right standing animation (head flopping/flying back and forth?)

Re: Bitron's Art Thread

Hi Bitron, I think you need to go a bit bolder with your changes to the dark archer - they look like the same unit unless you peer at them closely. The wose-like unit looks good with the new hands. For TC, you could do more in the hair-like area, unless these are supposed to be lightning trees or so...

Re: Monsters!

Sorry for not replying, I did try to take your critiques into account. In the portrait it is clearly bellow the eyes, but in the sprite it seems to be on top of the head. I went with what I thought was more readable. For a real ant, the jointed antennae could be an excuse: https://en.wikipedia.org/w...

Re: Monsters!

Thanks. Ants do look kind of cute, until they swarm or bite.
This is how the sprite is looking. I'll put it all in a PR later.

Re: Monsters!

So, there are some giant ants in UtBS. They have some very old sprites and no portrait. The spider portrait looks like a filtered photo, I hope to avoid that here. If this works, I'll go on to the sprite once the portrait is finished.

Re: Unit genders

'Bad Moon Rising' campaign had an female orc if im not mistaken [...] It does, as one of the hero units, but in that particular non-canon branch of the Wesnoth world, orcs are a warrior culture in a harsh frozen land. The males die in battle, the females die in childbirth. The smart individuals of ...

Re: [UtBS] Name for Quenoth scout mounts

So, Dustbok. Personally the -bok part sounds a bit strange to me, since "Bock" is in German referring to the male of Sheeps, Goats and alike, or rather a specific of the ones (google images will serve a better explanation) Though, they have as well interesting horns. Right, it's Dutch origin, refle...
