Re: New bridges (bridge-castle-transitions, hanging bridge)
I have always imagined that the elfes would use something like the Cherrapunji bridges. http://www.google.com/search?q=Cherrapunji+bridges&hl=sv&client=ubuntu&hs=ssY&channel=fs&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=0qefULm0CqSo4gTfhICABQ&ved=0CCYQs...

Re: Open Source Console
I would love to see Wesnoth on the OUYA, since it was inspired by the game "Master of mosters" on the Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis for the yanks).
It would have gone full circle.

Re: Non Wesnoth art "Ironclad"
Great this is the kind of critiqe i was hopping for! It is not actually supposed to be submarins (but i can see that it is easy to make that misstake). It is supposed to be Monitor class armoured ships( hence the name "Ironclad" ). The kind that almost all of the worlds navys built after t...

Re: Non Wesnoth art "Ironclad"
It is supposed to be floating in the oily water, implying that you are drowned and your ship sunk.
But if that isnt clear i have to rethink the lose screen, any ideas for a god lose screen?
edit: any comments on the victory screen?

Non Wesnoth art "Ironclad"
I have started some work on a turnbased marine warfare game named Ironclad.
I might talk abit more about that game later, for now i just want some comments on the victory and defeat screens.
Is it clear enough what is going on?
Regards Joakim
Edit: changed the victory screen according to critique.

Re: The new Wesnoth logo and the Loyalist sigil
I realise that this is much a matter of taste and the following is just my opinion. I much preferred the previous version, it looked excellent. The new version probably has a better readability but the older version was plenty good enough in that aspect. I mean the human brain is specialized on patt...

Wesnoth including the portraits are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html You are free to use them anyway you want as long as you comply to the license. To use them for the purpose you have in mind will be no problem at all. Good luck with ...

Re: The new Wesnoth logo and the Loyalist sigil
I’m just tossing out the idea here, but wouldn’t it be nice with a new title screen to go with the new shiny logo? Something with a layout that leaves room for the logo and buttons and tips, Perhaps a layout similar to this http://www.pollsb.com/photos/o/357882-homm_v.jpg We have a few people here t...

Re: Status of Loyalist Baseframes
The mace looks great but it is absolutely humongous.
Perhaps save it for level 3 and use a smaller for level1?
Just a quick example of a more realistic mace.

Re: Status of Loyalist Baseframes
I have a feeling the HI line could benefit from two things.
1: more team colour
2:more differentiation
The easiest way to achieve this seems to be to paint the shields differently.
Perhaps something like this?
Any comments or other ideas?

A complete font!
Sounds very cool, i have a feeling that would find use and spread far beyond wesnoth alone.

Re: NR Portraits
You could use whatever colour you want, in reality bare metal armour pieces was rare. The tower has a whole collection of wildly painted pikemans armour in such patterns as white and green stripes, red and white checks, and even one suit with multi colour polka dots. http://www.livesteelarmor.com/hm...

Re: NR Portraits
I have seen similar cleavages on the catwalk, but i believe they use adhesive tape to actually keep the breasts inside the dress.
Isn’t that much to extreme for something that’s used under normal circumstances?
