Pretty sure that center area has a hidden touchplate, from the scenario code these seem to be the locations of all the touchplates:

35,8
35,12
34,14
39,16
38,17

Check if you hit each of those spots.

Just posting to say I started the campaign two days ago, finished it last night. Awesome campaign, a lot of special attention went into that thing, that's for sure.

The link took me to the stuff regarding the "terrain" tag, which I did do. I filled in values wherever possible, even if its just to declare certain things as "false" even though that appears to be default. The map works until I replace any tile with a "Y9" string (i.e....

I've had some problems with terrains myself. I put a new terrain I made (wooden deck of a pirate ship) in the images/terrain folder, and then entered in a line like the OP did in terrains.cpg, but the game will not recognize the terrain, and the map just won't work. Awesome, you're really working yourself hard getting all these changes in place. ps if I'm not mistaken, you need to add a "side=&side_number" in the check to see if a flag ship is there, otherwise it will only check if -any- flagship exists, not just one on your side. Edited to add: B...

Sounds good regarding the make new captain thing only working with level 2's and 3's. As far as the whole "discourages boarding enemy ship to kill leader" thing, I don't think it presents too much of a problem. Ideallly most people won't be able to trounce in and kill the leader without ki...

Awesome campaign. I dig playing the dark side, though you don't get to play as a Lich for very long except for that looping campaign. I'd like to see the campaign extended to go even longer.
