Art from wesnoth without credit given??

Is it just me or can anyone else second my claim that based from the first thing i saw on the following site's mainpage, and the rest of the screenshots, that the developers of this game are using the wesnoth sprites, slightly altered, but for their own game? I know wesnoth is GNU or whatever but sh...

wesnoth RPG should be simple. not hard-core action MMORPG like WoW or elder scroll. it focus on more elegant and strategic fighting with a sense of adventure for RPGs. remember the KISS principle. 8) keep in mind Blueblaze even stated that this is going to be relatively non-wesnoth and like nothing...

Hey Blueblaze I know it's just Placeholder art but in my opinion I would say that you should come up with different names for the items, not so childish so to say. Now don't take this the wrong way but Hard Hat? why not something like Rusty Helm or Rusty iron Helm or something like that. Chain shirt...

ok I think I understand what you and sabatta are talking about now. I can still use dark colors but don't make the whole thing dark right? there needs to be some light? right? I think I kind of get it because I was looking at sabbata's avatar and he has a few dark units that aren't 100% dark so is t...

ok here is the revised version I'm still not happy with the tail but can't seem to color it right. I just posted the armored version since I wouldn't really be using the unarmored version.

edit: new armored version added

Re: My first sprite from scratch

If you dont care dont sprite! I think he means "don't care"[1] in the sense of: he doesn't like how the tail turned out. Meaning he'd probably care for some help to improve it. [1] to care can mean... 1. to give attention to, to be interested in 2. to approve of, to like (probably what he meant) 3....

ok yeah the horse isn't supposed to necessarily look fat but I had originally had the Idea to throw on a rider which would hide most of the fat and flat shading I just wanted to post the horse first, I ran out of time today for blending the rear leg but I do agree with you on that and making the fro...

My first sprite from scratch

This is the first Sprite I have drawn COMPLETELY from scratch. It's just a horse right now but later I plan on drawing a dark knight who will ride on his back. I don't much care for the facial features as they are but I thought I would have 1 with the head and one with the head and the head armor (w...

Ok so creating a sprite from scratch....

How do I do it? I have learned to Frankenstein fairly well, and I know how to animate, but I don't know how to make a sprite from scratch without copying parts of other sprites.

How do I do this? I looked in the art section but nothing was there about actually DRAWING sprites

I used to be able to login in to the forums here through my MSN browser but all of a sudden one day I type in my login in Info and it takes me back to the forum index, doesn't give me any notice or such of failure, but still doesn't show me as being logged in. The problem is still present, even thou...
