Re: Re: Swamplings - v1.1.7 - for 1.8 and 1.9

I'm playing wesnoth v1.10.3 on Debian. Can't complete second scenario in Swamplings. After I "train" 5 bats, all of them are hide inside the box. And White Mage is go up, where he is been poisoned. But there is no my main HERO any more! So after press Next Turn I fail the game. In console there are ...

1.9.7 A Tale of Two Brothers WML error

In 1.9.7 when I finishing "The Chase" scenario and choose Brena to go with me, I get error message:
error wml: empty side= is deprecated, use side=1
But I can go further just ignoring it.

Re: Reduce jumping of screen while healing/cure

Nevertheless, I think it will be more efficient than current algorithm.

Re: Reduce jumping of screen while healing/cure

I'm not talking about IDEAL "route" of showing units. It's possible to create list of them and just sort their, say, Y coordinate. And after that sort elements with the same Y coordinate (this time sort their X coordinate). And that's all. I think this could reduce jumping of window... In this case ...

Reduce jumping of screen while healing/cure

Right now (in 1.6.4) when units get their healing/cure, screen goes often from one side of map to another several times. I think current algorithm is just scanning through units and check could it be healed/cured. And it doesn't concern about their coordinates. Is it possible to create some sort of ...

Re: Can't download big campaign files within Wesnoth

Let me guess, you are still using version 1.6.3, right? Nope. Battle for Wesnoth v1.6.4 (37875). All this time it was the Fedora Core. Now it's 10th version. It's first x86_64 version I'm using. It was i386 before that. Oh. Just finished download of Invasion from the Unknown (13.10 Mb) in firefox d...

Can't download big campaign files within Wesnoth

Several years ago I had dial up Internet connection. I've try use internal Wesnoth Add-on's Downloader and can't download campaign more than, say, 1 Mb. Every time I get message "remote host disconnected". So, to download big campaigns I have to use firefox to find out direct link to file and downlo...

Why Elvish Sorceress can't heal?

Yes. I know. Balance and so on. But it's seem quite strange. Elvish shaman can heal, but is he forgot this skill after upgrade? How it could be "in real life"? Should the upgrade of units lead to just improve characteristics?

Re: using SVN to download a stable version

... if you want to follow both with minimal traffic you need to have checkouts for both. Well... I had trunk SVN (36631). After command svn switch http://svn.gna.org/svn/wesnoth/tags/1.6.4 wesnoth I have 1.6.4 (revision 37875). If next stable release will come out (say, 1.6.5). Which command should...

Re: using SVN to download a stable version

Yes. It'll only download/update the files which differ between those two branches. The main idea was to decrease traffic. I've give command: svn switch http://svn.gna.org/svn/wesnoth/tags/1.6.4 wesnoth to SVN 36631 version. I thought that 36631 was closest revision to 1.6.4... but it still updating...

If I keep updating trunk SVN and use "svn switch" everytime stable release is come out, will it be efficient?

using SVN to download a stable version

Is it possible to use a SVN to download a stable version? For example, last stable version is 1.6.4. Changelog is http:// svn.gna.org/viewcvs/wesnoth/tags/1.6.4/players_changelog?rev=36631&view=download Is rev=36631 means that SVN version 36631 is 1.6.4 version? If I give svn update -r 36631 http://...
