Re: library interposer

i'm so tired of the game crashing in my system (bug #9726) that i have started to doing some testings. I have make a set of functions that 'interposes' between the program and some library functions and print the parameters to stdout. Ohh, shiny! :D Why don't you attach that source code here for do...

I don't feel like making a new thread about Hotkeys, so I am using this one... I think that the default hotkey for "Load Game" should be Ctrl+L, just like Ctrl+S is "Save". At the moment it is Ctrl+O, while Ctrl+L stands for "mouse scrolling", for whatever reason. IMHO,...

Re: SOLVED: Units aren't in Help Menu

I mentioned this in a post about a different issue, but I am unable to read information about a Unit in the help menu until that specific unit has made an appearance in a game, past or present. There is the text "Advances to" in a particular profile, but it is only a followable link if I'...

qk, when I asked about both my bugs around May in the IRC channel which I have now submitted to the bugtracker, I was told it sounds like a bug. The consensus was "the WML used in that campaign is very old and probably outdated, the campaign would have to be redone with the current WML specs&qu...

Aww, I just found out that the Woses did have different artwork corresponding to their traits. Too bad that I didn't see it in game, would have been quite interesting. :)

I have just played through the campaign. This was the most enjoyable campaign that I ever played! (granted, I haven't played that much... :)) The first map was not too much trouble after a second or third try, using the mud guys as chaff and the other units to level, but playing the second one made ...

qk, see https://gna.org/bugs/?9904 and the links there. I played the campaign with 1.2.4, 1.3.2 and 1.3.7 from the start, and they all show the same behavior. There are savegames linked in the bug report and in the links which you could use for testing. In case you need more savegames/information, j...

Hi. I have started playing this campaign on 1.2.4 and I ran into the bug where your recall list gets filled up with dupes whenever you save and load the game after you have finished the "Choice In The Fog" scenario and moved on to "Tidings, Good and Ill", although it first manife...

Okay. Can anybody who played "Choice In The Fog" with v1.3.2 please provide a near-end savegame for comparison? Then I'll be able to determine what can be fixed and how. Savegames for "Tidings, Good and Ill" and "Into The Depths" from 1.3.2 that don't show the bug would...

As far as I know changes in scenarios will only take effect if you start from the previous scenario. So if your safe game works you can try to start from the scenario before you had problems. Sorry again, but what are "scenarios"? Are they what I refer to as "missions", like &qu...

1.2.4 savegames aren't going to work with 1.3.2, you're going to have to start the campaign over. The whole thing, from the start? Please excuse my ignorance, but even though I have no knowledge of how this game works from a technical standpoint, wouldn't it somehow be possible to fix the old 1.2.4...

This is fixed in 1.3.2. Fixed how? I have downloaded, compiled and installed 1.3.2 on my system and loaded my old savegames from 1.2.4 and this issue does not seem fixed, the savegame still grows every time you save & load like described by OP. This problem manifests itself first in the "T...
