Re: Loyalist Crossbowman Possibility

Whoa Major!

Your animation has become very cool in very little time!

I highly encourage you to work in south facing animations, cause north facing sprites/animations will not be used until all or much of the set is done.

Good work!

Re: Presenting Anima - a new tool for BfW artists

Good!

I tested it and it runs correctly on: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux
It will be useful to show in the preview the sprite that we double click.

Re: Valkiers portraits: Draug incoming

Hello Valkier. You are worrying to much in making it to look like your portrait, the sprite can not have a lot of details cause the limit that pixels naturally make. If you try, you will end with a very blurry sprite (just like resizing an image to match the size). You need to drop some details (lik...

Re: WSAS: Milestone Three

Congratulations tsi,

Neorice must be very happy!

I have to add that the Hurricane and Sky Drakes are the ones that have less diferences, probably a complete gold will make them more different. I emphasize the difference only cause they are always moving.

Re: No Color :(

I suggest that you use the "pick color" tool, to use the same colors in the shoulder, that the ones you used in the staff team-color as they appear to be right. Be sure to turn on the "hard-edge" option in the eraser tool when you are using it or it will create a mess with the co...

Re: Ghosts!

All the portraits are different than the sprites, and that is a very good feature. It would be very boring that the portrait was only a "zoom" of the sprite. This feature, makes the feel than not all the units of the same type are equal, some can have armour like in the sprite, others not ...

Trunk: ‘serialization’ has not been declared

Hello, I was getting this error since last week, I needed a library, but no check fails at the start. jorge@molko:/usr/src/wesnoth$ svn update U players_changelog U src/play_controller.hpp U src/actions.cpp U src/playsingle_controller.cpp U src/gamestatus.cpp U src/attack_prediction_display.hpp U sr...

Re: WSAS: First milestone approaching

What is the most constant flaw on your portraits, is that you use lots of thin outlines - imo if you used fewer but bolder outlines, and just shading in place of the other outlines that werent important enough to be bold ones, it would add a lot. I agree with this, your dwarf portraits shows it mor...

I didn't notice this mistake until now, the colors in frame one are all wrong,
I was working with anti-alias turned on! :augh:

Re: REQUEST - death animation for bone shooter

I was trying to do it, but I ruined the boots, I do not quite understand how to use the colors in them, there are a lot of different ones, not like the bones that use only a light color, a dark one and one between.
:S
Can someone explain me?
Thanks.

Re: Ghastly

Hello, I like the concept, and have an idea, but can't say it in my poor english :/ so, forgive me for this quick edit to show what I mean. It makes the illusion (at least for me) that in the picture of the left, the "thing" is sleeping if you take the eyes for the uhmm "tits" (l...
